partly true. i'm not the main map maker on feudal war.

Seems though as no-one is interested in commenting on my maps, might be time to hang up the tools, eh?
cairns I love your maps, please don't do it (***hopes you were joking***)
Don't now why people on here don't like being cooks, remember under siege: A former SEAL, now cook, is the only person who can stop a gang of terrorists when they sieze control of a US Navy battleship.

the foundry is dying a slow death mate. all maps lack feedback.

in fairness some of us non map makers try but its easier said than done at times.
ps cairns is there a map in particular you want feedback on it if so might be worth setting up a "fishing thread" in general discussion to draw people in also make sure you have it on Oaktown's thread as this does attract people as well.

no rebelman. i won't grovel for feedback. just stating a point, but thanks for your kindness.
However, i do take heed (i think that's how it's spelled) that my maps are obviously too hard for the average punter out there to understand or be bothered with, so why should i even bother trying to create a challenge for people to challenge themselves on.

what...try to convince people they should come and have a look at something that is hard for them to understand....no way, not worth the effort anymore.

cairns I dont think its that straight forward. Your problem is in some ways a marketing one as those that play your maps tend to return to them again and again but most have never played them even once.
Soon after joining this site I was told to avoid certain maps most of which are towards the bottom of the above table when I eventually did play them I discovered I liked them.
Its worth remembering too your maps are not really suited to 1 v 1 or speed if you remove those 2 requirements i suspect they move higher up the table. Also as has been said before no. of games does not factor in duration.

no, i do not think so cairnswk
i would say a lot of the cc community is trusting of cc and its map makers and for most of the players, it is not their strength to recognize a great map and its playability while brand new, most need some experience on it to really be able to tell. this is why i think you do not see much posts in the map foundary, hope this makes sense and you all keep up your great work.
ty, respects blitzer

iberia and siege are still spelled wrong.
also it should be map movements as of feb 3rd 2008
every time i look at this i can't help wondering if we're ever going to see a map with more games than classic.

No i am not kidding you....if it's acceptable in our parliament and in accounting terminology as per our CPA, then i am sure i can use it here. We all have idiosyncratic phrases DiM.
