Halo 3 is the final game.....thats been said countless times. So you can bypass thinking it. It doesn't matter how much of a blast it makes, the first two halo's where easy to pick up and learn. They sold a lot of copies, the masses play what the rest of the mass is playing. The reviewers are part of that mass. So in other words get ready for a shit storm of sales, which is already happening and has been, a flurry of "praise" from review "artists", "Fan boys" praising it and faulting it over there counterparts and so much static game development to come because of it, it will make WoW seem like a tin bucket, some old cowboy spits in. It doesn't matter if its a blast, its all about the hype. No game is ever as good as the first, so few games are really good in reality, but hey thats just my opinion.

not clear at all. Maybe you decided to only watch two trailers. Im not even a crazy fan-boy and i know so much more. Ive seen the trailers, gone to the websites, and read about 50 pages of magazine articles. I know all of the new weapons, vehicles, features (map editing), extremely sexy graphics, there are 300,000 sound clips i think (so that shooting at a wall sounds different from shooting at grass), ik the characters who are your enemies, ik the new maps, new grenades, the size of the vehicles compared to eachother, ik the new customizable multiplayer characters, ik what might be the end of the game, and more, ik almost EVERYTHING.

i will buy halo 3, for one reason. Its halo 3.............nuff said.

Thats a bad reason. Why would it being Halo 3 justify it being bought just on those premises?

having played halo 1 & 2 and thoroughly enjoyed them both, i'm willing to endure terrible graphics, gameplay and anything else bungie may ruin, to find out how the story ends and to be able to say i played them all.

And how bad can it actually be, the graphics may not be groundbreaking, but they're not gonna be any worse than halo 1 or 2, neither will anything else. the likely-hood of the halo franchise getting worse, is slim

I have the feeling that halo 3 will NOT be as big a blast at all, and thus end the series. I even think the folks who make halo have this third halo game planned as the final game.
