Seems very close, but with LHDD getting -1 and ACES getting +1 for the forfeit game, it might be decided by that.

Really ?? Didn't realize that, I need to check our games together...LFAW wrote:Keefie wrote:I haven't got the time, patience or enough crayons to explain why all of this shouldn't be in this thread.
Let ACES and LHDD crack on with their war without distractions and quit making work for the CD's.![]()

As an aside, next year can we be on the other side of the bracket to LHDD? I genuinely think that Donche has a button saying 'reveal LFAW's map' because I can't beat the guy
It's nto two years in a row. This ACES first particiaption on the CC. We just lost a friendly war vs LHDD earlier this year. But hopefully we now turn this one nowrockfist wrote:It’s rare that your on the same side of a bracket two years in a row…me I just usually hate facing S&M (and Josko) in an early round, I suppose it’s asking a lot two years in a row, but maybe someone can make it happen.
Seriously? What element of luck exactly? I can tell you what WAS lucky...both of you landed 3 card sets at a crucial point in the game. It must be gutting for you that I did too, but aside from that you were outplayed and left yourselves divided on the map making our job easierCould exactly say the same about the luck you needed to sweep USApocalypse
It's not unusual to roll 11-14 against terrs holding 2+. Sure beats me rolling 14-24 against 1s (!!!) in Rail SA.what I heard a failed kill on Phillie with clear positive odds (something like 17vs2vs11)
No one said it was "unusual" just that we got bad dice, i.e we had more than 50% chance of succeeding and we didn't.Chariot of Fire wrote:It's not unusual to roll 11-14 against terrs holding 2+. And FWIW your odds of winning Philly even with an elimination is about 5%
8-2,1,2 so you had perfect dice before the 6-2 fail just saying…donche64 wrote:Could exactly say the same about the luck you needed to sweep USApocalypse; very Nice defense on Prohib Chicago (6vs2 failed to kill pink) or from what I heard a failed kill on Phillie with clear positive odds (something like 17vs2vs11). And a decisive coinflip on WWII (6vs1vs1vs1), all of that just in one day.
Classic CC communicating vessels !

"donche wish your dices were hot like mine? donche wish the outcome was a freak like me? donche, ahaaa" (sorry but I sing this bloody song every time I see your name)
That's true, and it's still a 58.something % chance of success (I've read somewhere else a complaint about a 60% attack that had failed, so almost the same situation).MTIceman41 wrote:

Dude, you're high. First off, Prosecco is typically fine, though there's a literal ocean of crappy Prosecco out there. And, actually, I mostly only keep it around for Aperol Spritzes and things like that. Champagne, on the other hand, bottoms out at very tasty and goes straight up from there to amazing. If you're stuck on Italian being better than French (I'm not going to bother with your chain despite the fact that I have more French wine in my cellar than any other country). At any rate, if you have to get your bubbles from Italy and are ready to get out of the kiddie pool of Prosecco, try a Franciacorta. It's essentially Italian Champagne. Made with the same grape varietals, using the same process, and aged on the lees before disgorgement.MTIceman41 wrote:Nopedetlef wrote:Champagne > Prosecco. I'd still rather have Champagne, but at least it's close.
