I'd like to see a map based off English grammar.

A sort of, correc- errr -capture- the errors to win?
Maybe it could be a petition to the mods! Just *sob* very poorly written...

Something like that.
I say let Evil DWit write it.

This paragraph is the map you're playing. This one right here. Each word can attack the word to its left and the one to its right. All instances of the same word can attack each other. Each sentence gives a bonus of half its length rounded up. Conquer all the capitals to win. There are no other rules.

I'm pretty sure you meant that facetiously, but that would actually be a really cool map, lol. I would play it.

If there's support I'll implement it but I'll need to find an artist.

Heaven, Earth and Hell.

I was thinking today of a map where you have three levels.
Kind of a perspective, with clouds with angels on top - each angel a territory, and of course God in some form on top, dont think he should have a value.
In the middle the human kind, each human a territory.
On the bottom devils a territory each. And Satan in some form, dont think he should have a value either.
Both the devils and angels can attack the humans and win them over.
Humans can attack each other.
For each human there is at least one devil and one angel connected. The angel and devil can fight each other directly over the human, but the human can not fight either, only "be strong in his faith".
The troops can be transferred from humans to either devils or angels.
The bonus system could be that for each human the connected devil/angel get a bonus.
The one that conquer the whole board wins. No special "Hold God" or "Hold Satan" bonuses. Don't even think that should be an option. In the end all angels and devils would be gone, left is just God and Satan, to start the battle again...
I have looked at medieval paintings, I would love to use one of those, and I guess that since the painter is dead since several hundred years back such a painting would be free to use?
map of hell - just an idea

I dont have any coding talent what so ever, so this is just a thought to see if it tickles any of the map maker's fancies.
In a thread in monkey business someone was talking about the town of hell, and i casually said it would be cool to have a map of the circles of hell. Just thought i'd throw it out there. Cant hurt to see if it interests anyone

You mean like a Dante's inferno -style map?

If that is the idea, there are several topics in the Foundry with that idea. Use Advanced Search, limit yourself to the Map Foundry and its subfora, and search for Dante.

Why not base it on the whole Comedy?
You have heaven, purgatory and hell. If you could invent some wacky system of one way attacks, maybe everyone starts in purgatory and you decide to go up or down.
EDIT: is this more marketing for the game by EA?

I really like the idea of making it the whole comedy. Here are a few quick images that might give us a feel for what such a map might look like. Not sure what the gameplay would be like...
