I don't think you can call meta when alignments in other games are still in question. We should focus on this game as the other game is irrelevant for now.

I'm not talking about the other game. I'm talking about Skoffin willing to accept truces from some selected players and not from others, while each game should be separated from each other. I am focused on this one and she is contradictory to herself, first defending me about changing strategy and then not willing to accept that it was a defense. I see it like any other attempt to look pro town - "protect the innocent" and then when accused "I'm not defending you" tactics...

You are bringing up a mechanic from another game that does not even exist in this game, it's hardly relevant to anything that happens in here. And no, I don't agree that all players are equal. Let's be honest, some players are far more valuable than others; this can be based on particular roles etc from within a particular game, or it can be more broad in games simply due to their skill level in the game. In that game I accept a truce as it seemed beneficial for me to do so, and because wing seemed to be a more valuable player to me than the other person who offered me a truce. But let's also not forget that a lot of my posting style lately has been merely for my own comedic purposes and not much more than that. The game is meant to be fun and I am posting in a way that feels humorous to me.
As for the "I'm not defending you" bit, well that's how we view these sorts of things. I'm not defending you specifically, I'm defending the concept; you just happen to be the person brought up in in regard to that concept. I am 100% in favour of changing playstyles and adapting to each game and as such I disagreed with Tim's assessment, therefore it's reasonable for me to publicly disagree with his thoughts on that matter. Furthermore, his notion was just outright dumb and I always think it's good to point out things that are dumb. Jajaja
For the record, it's also in my favour to point out now why I disagreed with Tim's post. I have clearly changed my own playstyle since the last game that was played here, in fact I quite clearly stated as much in the Civ game you have been referencing, so Tim is essentially also saying that I am being scummy for adapting my playstyle. Out of interest, if you were going to go to the trouble of bringing up the civ game and how it makes people look in this game as justification as to why I am 'scummy' for arguing with Tim about adapting playstyles why would you leave out the only point that may have actually been relevant here? (

PS folks sorry about not posting the past couple days had my miltiary things this weekend and was super busy. got a snow storm headded my way dropping bout 2 feet of snow may lose power in case i dissapear (if i lsoe power ill get somewhere with power so i can still play)

Good Catch Mets. I can see the struggle with Dakky, changing how you play and the expectations of you from game to game. As it was already noted, some people and their skills/pitfalls are brought through each game. Especially a pain on D1 since everything is up in the air with very little to go on.
