I would have to call this the Red Viper Twist...you have victory in hand, but then get your head handed to you...

It shows I am challenging macbone but I reported victory over him. Can I challenge for the number 4 spot when his current challenge is over?

I did manage to win 2 games and will lose the 3rd to mac. Many thanks to ETG for getting me first go in all 3. I will put that bottle of Woodford Reserve in the mail to ETG unless you want to meet halfway and I will deliver it personally.

You want the SoC GoT Ladder Reset Tournament sheet/tab...located at the bottom of the spreadsheet.

No challenges can be made during the reset...
The reason you see a "Challenging" and a "Challenged By" is for me to keep track of who is playing who...

Do Ladder Reset games count for consecutive Ladder Matches Win Streak?

That's a GREAT question...In previous Ladder Resets, we've always had multiple player games (no 1v1s), so the streak couldn't be used or included...Since this Reset uses 1v1 matches, I'm inclined to allow it...but I would like to chew on it for 24 hours.

Anything special for a win 2-1 and a loss 1-2?

Good news: I finally finished one set of games beating macbone 2:1 after being thrashed in the first game. Bad news: the deciding game vs tamaynet may take a while.

I thought about this and I'll count the first two initial matches as part of the Ladder Streak (new column created on Ladder Reset sheet)...I will not any matches that come from various twist scenarios.

Match against macbone is recorded as 2 -1 after verifying games...You enter the Ladder currently at #10 and macbone drops down five rungs to #29.

Match results are recorded...This moves you up to #1 position and qualifies you for John Snow Twist scenario...

Ok..I just went through all of the matches that have not been reported yet to see the status.
There are only two games still going on that I can see...
There are seven matches that need to be reported...
Now, I understand there is some strategy here in reporting matches and possible Twist scenarios, but the Reset cannot move forward unless one of two things happen:
1. Winners report their wins in their matches.
2. I automatically post the match results....which I don't want to do.
Winners, please post your match results and let the chips fall where they might. I purposely did not place time restrictions on the Ladder Reset, but I was hoping to be done by Nov. 15th, so we can start the new Ladder...
The following players have qualified for Twist scenarios already...
John Snow Twist scenario
Mad777 grt Silly Knig-It celliottii
Cersei Lannister Twist scenario
bobbythomson Russde
There are several players with potential twist scenarios, but I'm waiting for games to be reported before finalizing these.
Thanks!

I thought the whole time that it is allowed, as the Reset is natural follow up of 1v1 streaks that have been used for previous ladder. I hope you will allow it.
EDIT: Just saw that you have allowed it in later post. Thanks for that.

Your match against Benga was 2 - 1 (I checked the game logs)
Your match against Ben was 2 - 0.
2016-10-18 18:28:37 - t4mcr53s2 eliminated ben.cleuch from the game 2016-10-20 18:01:39 - t4mcr53s2 eliminated ben.cleuch from the game 2016-10-21 05:09:12 - ben.cleuch eliminated t4mcr53s2 from the game
You won your second game about 9 hours before he beat you.
Sorry, but you do not qualify for any Twist scenarios.
josko.ri wrote:I report that I won 3-0 versus ganguscalm and 2-1 vs ElricTheGreat.
Your match against ganguscalm is verified by game logs.
Your match against ElricTheGreat is officially 2 - 1 and verified by game logs. You do not qualify for any Twist scenarios.
Josko.ri moves to #4 after winning both of his matches. ETG moves down to #12. Ganguscalm moves to #26 and qualifies for the Cersei Lannister Twist scenario.

ALL ACTIVE MATCHES ARE COMPLETE!!!
There are some players that still need to report their matches and I've sent them PMs asking them to do so. They have until 0001 EST October 30th to report and then I will automatically report the matches.
I have added a new column called, "Twist Qualified". If you qualified for a Twist scenario, then you will see a YES in this box. If not, it will be left blank. This will be updated and finalized no later than 1200 EST October 30th.
Hodor.
Now the real Game of Thrones can get started...
No one has activated their Twist scenario yet...and why would you this early in the game???
Who will activate their twist first?
Who will you screw over?
Cersei Lannister is still lurking out there...there are three players already qualified to use their Cersei Lannister Twist...
Now, all players with qualified twists will have until 2359 EST November 3 to activate their twist...otherwise you do lose it...no exceptions.
Now comes the final Twists...(yes, I'm an evil bastard!!! )
These Twists will take place once the initial Twists have been completed and reported.
"Renly Baratheon is nothing to me, nor Stannis neither. Why should they rule over me and mine from some flowery seat in Highgarden or Dorne? What do they know of the Wall or the wolfswood or the barrows of the First Men? Even their gods are wrong. The Others take the Lannisters too. I've had a bellyful of them. Why shouldn't we rule ourselves again? It was the dragons we married, and the dragons are all dead. There sits the only king I mean to bend my knee to, m'lords: The King in the North!" - GreatJon Umber
The Top 5 players will play ONE game on Classic with the following settings: Manual, Sequential, Escalating, Chained, Fog, No Trench, 20 Round Limit
Based on results will determine the final rankings for Top 5 (winner = 1st, second, = 2nd, etc.)

"In that darkness the White Walkers came for the first time. They swept through cities and kingdoms, riding their dead horses, hunting with their packs of pale spiders big as hounds." - Old Nan
Five players ranked between #11 and #25 will be randomly selected and chosen as White Walkers.
White Walkers will be able to challenge one player (aka Knight) up to five rungs above them in ONE game on Classic with the following settings: Automatic, Sequential, Zombie, Adjacent, Fog, Trench, 20 Round Limit.
If the White Walker wins, the players trade places on the Ladder.
If the Knight wins, he moves up three places and the White Walker stays where they are at.
Once The War of the Five Kings and the White Walker Twists are complete, the Ladder Reset Game of Thrones will be complete and Ladder 5.0 will start shortly thereafter.

Chuck ... I would like to suggest that if the winners decide to NOT post their wins as the rules stipulate that they do NOT get credit for the win. Take note of the LOSS for the loser, so that they are not penalised, and let them take any twist that might come of it but other than that let the ladder sit unchanged?
Thoughts?

i get where you are with this calling me record 2-1 and 2-0 since i won the first 2 games before the third finished it didnt count... but then i quess how can people win a match 3-0 ? .... if once they are up 2-0 they cant get "credit" for losing the third game, why get credit for winning the third game ?....
if we say then they should perhaps get the same twist with 2 2-0 victories , then what happens if the win the first 3-0 and the second goes win, win, loss ...was their record 2-0, and 2-0 OR 3-0 and 2-1....
I'm ok either way ; where I am on the ladder is not critical to me, just started this 2nd post cause i figured you'd missed the last of my loses , posted it to say again i was 2-1 twice , but then saw your response to my firstr post ; so I edited the second post to this ....
