I have a question.

If 41st game does not count towards player maximum allowance, it means one player can theoretically play 5 sets, 2 home, 2 away and tie breaker one. Is it correct?

Also question, is one set best of 3 consisting of 3 different maps, and can also be 3 different settings?

Also question, can the same player repeat the same map in AWAY set? I mean, join 2 sets versus different players, each sets having one the same map, or join the same map that he has in his home set but someone posted it in away set as well.

- Yes

- 3 maps all have to be unique. also, if playing 2 home sets, all 6 maps have to be unique. individual
player cannot repeat maps in home games. settings can be different or the same, it's not
specified. clans can negotiate something different in regards to spoils & forts, make it more specific.

Also question, can the same player repeat the same map in AWAY set? I mean, join 2 sets versus different players, each sets having one the same map, or join the same map that he has in his home set but someone posted it in away set as well.
- away maps don't count. 1 player can join away sets with same maps as his/hers.

Sorry if this has already been explained, but are you forced to play away sets in bundles or can they be split?

Let's assume we have Leehar's home set (from my perspective, it's an away set). Can my clan assign 3 different players to play Leehar across all those 3 games or does it have to be the same player in all 3 of them?

I'm assuming bundles since each player can play 2 away sets, but those 2 away sets could easibly be converted in 6 away games, thus giving MoWs more flexibility to manage their rosters.

Yes it would be better to allow different players to face an away set otherwise home advantage would be too big if the same player have to take all 3.

My understanding was away sets were bundles, having to play all 3. that was the uniqueness / appeal of it being different.
It allowed the MOW to plan unique combinations that would be difficult for other clans to compete on.

I think like IcePack, it would be useless to have sets if you can send different players to face an away set.
In this case we would have 40 poly (2) 40 poly(3) and 40 poly(4) and not a set.

True, home advantage will be bigger in some case, but that also show the depth of a clan, finding players able to be good on 3 maps at the same time and not only on one is much more difficult. That will make this challenge unique, different of a clan war.

Each clan has equal home games... it evens out

Makes it MUCH more interesting in my opinion

My understanding is that the three games within each set are to be played by the same person - that is the heart of the competition, and shows the depth of the players, for one player to be able to deal with all three maps in the set.

clans can negotiate some of the terms if they wanna make it interesting for themselves.

signups have slowed down. it doesn't feel like we'll get anywhere close to 16.
Deadline for signups is Noon Wednesday, April 13.
time to get this thing moving.

They'd still be sets in the sense that a team could win 42 games, lose 81 and still come out on top (21 "2-1 victories" and 20 "0-3 defeats").

But I'm happy either way! Carry on! :D

Could we have it explicitly stated in the OP that the same two players play all three games of a given set? Several people posted about it, but I'm not sure we have ofifcial confirmation?

Likely there will be some clans looking for something to do after 2nd Round wins / losses are determined for CC6. Depending on timing of sign ups they'd likely hit this event or mini cup, but if both sign ups close might not get as many as you could (just an observation if your aim is more signed up, it doesn't matter to me either way).

EDIT: actually same goes for RL, CL PD & SD. All are about to end.

I agree with cat, and everyone else who has expressed a similar sentiment.
