I just like the fact that FP & Dixie are in the minors...lol See you in the playoffs FP;)..... if you make it of course...lol

Team Awesomeness would be the perfect name for the winners.... so to save everyone the trouble just send me the trophy now....lol....

Great work so far.... keep it up.

Are the games going to be posted here or PM'd to everyone?

Peace

DB

I am planning on posting games here and PMing one person on every team reminders to check the thread for the games. 64 people is just to many for me to PM to join games. I am planning on making games this evening. Let the games begin!!!

I ask that you bear with me.......for the first round, I must make 240 games

on another note, if you failed to give me a team name, I made one up for you like it or not. I will update the first post as soon as I have created all the games.

Games are posted on the first post complete with what players going to what games and passwords. After 240 games, there is bound to be some mistakes, so just let me know if you have any problems with the games. each team will play everyone in their division once (one set of 5 games that is). That means you will be signing up for a total of 15 games for round one. Please don't hesitate to ask questions if you have any. Enjoy round 1!!!

I see my team (AZ Dragons) is listed as the "away-team" for all 3 match-ups. Does that mean we have to wait with joining untill the "home-teams" have joined the games, or can we join first if we want?

And if we have to wait for the "home-teams" then can you send a PM when we can join.

WOW, can't believe I overlooked that!!!! There isn't any "home" team exactly. However for the purposes of joining games:

The team listed first will join the game first!
Teams listed second, please wait until the first team has joined or I will be remaking an awful lot of games

Also, I believe I forgot to list the maps voted on. they are as follows:

CLASSIC
ALEXANDER'S EMPIRE
MIDDLE EARTH
GERMANY
WORLD
TAMRIEL
SIEGE
CANADA
EUROPE
SPACE
USA
N. AMERICA

There are a lot of games being joined, a few starting and some not doing anything at all. Please check on your own games, if people aren't joining, please just drop them an email and remind them. I only pm'd one person per team, so make sure that your counterparts are joining as well.

I know that we signed up for this and everything but adding an additional 15 games to rough. I guess when you said early on at least 5 games per round it was acceptable but this is an additional 10. Can't we at least take these in 5 game increments without being penalized? For me personally I'm in a couple of other tournaments and have some regular games going as well. I have joined my games, except for 491076. 078. 080. 081. 082 because the team listed 1st has not. let us know. thanks

My teammate and I joined 5 so far, but the other teams are listed as first in all of ours, so we are waiting to join the other 10. Just wanted to give an update.

There are 5 games being played against each team. It was easier for me to create them all at once rather then wait and I was hoping it would speed the process up a bit. I can break up the games into 5 instead depending on what everyone wants. Does anyone else have an opinion??? would you rather play the whole round at once or break up the round into 3 segments?

There is no time limit. I will attempt to contact the teams twice. After that they are a now show. I will inform everyone of any now shows.

Truthfully, I would have rather it broken up because I have other tourney's and other game to play also. That plus work, and sports, it takes up time that I could be doing something else. I love playing, but that takes up a lot of time.

I am okay with either all 15 or three sets of 5, I have talked to my partner and he's good with either as well.

15 games

Post by comic boy »

15 games in one hit is a lot and 3 sets of 5 with a time limit might be better. On another note does anybody else think World is a bad map choice - I say this because the very large initial drop will offer significant advantage to the team playing first - time is also a concern to me as the games may well drag on.

That's not necessarily true, and I've played a couple World doubles games and they actually don't last THAT long.

Is there any reason each team plays the same opponent 5 times with identical settings? It gets a bit repetitive after a while.
