I'm not familiar with which states support it and which don't. What I can assume is that in the states that are against it, it's not from a non-religious interest.

Taken from wikipeda: "In contrast [to states that allow it -A.], twenty-six states have constitutional amendments explicitly barring the recognition of same-sex marriage, confining civil marriage to a legal union between a man and a woman. Forty-three states have statutes defining marriage to two persons of the opposite-sex, including some of those that have created legal recognition for same-sex unions under a name other than "marriage.""

Whoever say homosexuality is a choice have to get slapped. Whoever say they are different and should be insulted for that should be shot.

Whoever say worse, come see me. I'll take care of you myself.

I have a lesbian friend, and NEVER she chosed that ( though considering the maturity of teenage guys in my school, she would have made the right choice.)

About if they should have the right to get married or not...

How aren't they humans?!

Why shouldn't they have the right to get married, practice their religion or whatever, from what they are? If I am missing a leg since my birth, would I be allowed to get married anyway? Yes. Why is homosexuality is different.=?

Because some random idiot standed up saying homosexuality is different and should be dished away.

If he would have kept his butt down, I don't think this ''war'' would have happened. People who show hatred to anyone who is different than themself need to wake up and realise EVERYONE is different, with some similarities.

That is one more thing I hate about religion. They show ONCE again their celf-centered position about what THEY say and scrap everything else away. Well, the religion itself. The beleivers have their right to think what they want..but not allowed to say cause of that so called religion. In most case.

--This wasn't meant to offense anyone practicing religion.

Hitman079 wrote:and there could also be the possibility that it is a choice- most people do not become "gay" until later in their life, maybe from failure with women, and it may not be a gene.

Only just read the start of this thread, so this might have been said before, but I think gay people don't 'become' gay, they're just born with it, and either through not being able to hide it by getting a girlfriend or just through wanting to admit it, come out when they're an adult. I know for sure that if I was gay I wouldn't want to admit it when I was still at school. And anyone who 'went gay' due to failure with women still wouldn't be actually gay, just someone who was desperate for a bit.
