I'm not familiar with which states support it and which don't. What I can assume is that in the states that are against it, it's not from a non-religious interest.

lol shut up i just read it and it was for CHURCHES to give the documents for marrage they can still be married in courts in most of those states and again it is not out lawed compleatly .......... if it was outlawed they would be in JAIL !!!!

Only just read the start of this thread, so this might have been said before, but I think gay people don't 'become' gay, they're just born with it, and either through not being able to hide it by getting a girlfriend or just through wanting to admit it, come out when they're an adult. I know for sure that if I was gay I wouldn't want to admit it when I was still at school. And anyone who 'went gay' due to failure with women still wouldn't be actually gay, just someone who was desperate for a bit.
