Isnt the borders of the image tooooooo near the circus? Maybe you could add some space there... I think would be better.

yeah what marv said, but also for the top of the map and sides... Border right on edge of image...maybe make the map a WEE bit bigger (yes I said WEE)...normally these races were actually surrounded by people, so it would be more real if you were able to put spectators all the way around

Here we go with less genetic material around the wreck, more crowd around the sides (good suggestion) and a desplotchification. Losing momentum on this one, kids.

Looks good to me. The dust definitely looks more like a proper dustcloud now. If I were going to suggest anything, it would be that the border around the outer edge of the track should maybe match the border around the inside edge (rather than apparently only existing for the top half but not the bottom), but I won't actually do that, since I'd like to see this map get quenched :)

Well I would've suggested the same thing Jota did...just to keep the feel of it being enclosed...since it feels like the crowd could rush from the stands! So basically it comes down to...hurry up so I can Quench it! :)

I used to have it for the bottom as well, if you look at previous images - but it didn't make sense - if the crowd is leaning over it at the top of the map, it would be invisible to our eye at the bottom of the map. I could easily flip it back to that, but I've gotten more used to this idea...

I think that the names could be a bit clearer.. I'm having a little trouble reading them..
And the crowds bordering the bottom of the map(track thing) look a little odd to me..

Honestly it's a moot point...see what others think and perhaps by tomorrow we can get it Quenched (so it can wait in line with all the other maps for Lack...)

Crowd altered to be more unruly and less weird at the bottom.

Curving them to swing them into the curve makes them a tiny bit harder to read, but no two names start with the same letter, and I think the first time anyone uses a drop-down list they'll notice that they're in alphabetical order/consecutive order and realize their freedom from confusion. I can't imagine a single turn on this map going awry as a result of them being the way they are, though I concede they may be a little harder to read out loud. EP, maybe you can let me know if this is a problem once gameplay starts?

You're right.. So its not that much of a problem..

You've made a good point, so I doubt there will be a problem.. But If there is, i'll let you know..

I'm not sure if they had popcorn in ancient Rome, so the crowd's got to eat something, right?

This is how the numbers look on it, though I'm using an older image just because I haven't adjusted the coordinates in the xml since I added more spectators around the edges.

Probably whatever program Rock used to save the image did that...

Might want to double the number of colors being used for the GIF compression.
