Just updated the 3rd post. We are up to 11 now. Signups have only been open for a couple of days. The higher ranked clans have typically discussed things longer and take a little more time to start joining. I fully expect them all to be in here playing with maybe 1 or 2 opting out.

11 so far... top clans will probably sign up in last two days. until then they will pretend they are discussing will they play, like they have something else to do (and we all know only TSM are questionable as they are use to have 16 months break between clan wars )

Give me feedback on this for a Cup tied rule. Every clan can bring in one player who isn't cup tied (I think this helps with normal movements throught caln). But that one player still has to sit out 1 entire round with the new clan. i.e. if they join while the clan is in the final 8, they have to sit out the entire semi finals and could start participating in the finals if the clan made it.

After 1 player who was cup tied has been added to a clan, any other players who are cup tied that have to join that clan are ineligible.

A clan can not pick which one they use if another one comes along later. They can only use the first player that was officially a part of the clan (shown on the usergroup roster).

This can still be discussed, I am just trying to be creative in fixing the issues we have had in the past. I know all of you are just saying "keep the cup tied rule" because most of you are very committed to your clan and aren't going anywhere. But each year I have had to deal with a handful of guys who truly just moved on and them sitting out for a long time when in reality, they were not making a major impact in the war.

im all for keep the cup tied rule.
big clans are fishing for new members. you know it, i know it, everyone knows it. so if mid lvl clan have one good player, that player will be approached by at least 50% of top clan leaders, and as a bait they will use "we are still in CC" if nothing else works.
but if you simply must have something, then add this. if member X wants to move from clan A to clan B, he is allowed to participate for clan B only if clan A is still in contention after the round during which he made a move. meaning, if during last 16 player X decide to go from clan A to clan B, he will be allowed to play for clan B in last 8 only if clan A has progressed to last 8. this will allow members of TOFU, KoRT, TSM, THOTA to change sides, but will not allow clans trying to strengthen by picking up good players from less good clans.

If someone changes clan tough. The rule should be that a player can only play for one clan. Period.

I am going to move forward with the overall rule. I don't see any reason to add this part though. If both clans progress, then the switch still seems legitimate and I think they can play.
