Although I may not back some of the stuff FOED say, what they do deserves to be recognised.

With the F400 becoming the more-and-more respected ranking system, I'd back the principle that clan tournaments involving more games overall than 41-game clan wars should be included, especially when CL4 individual rounds are 12 games also.

I respect the fact that you are the guy doing the work here Gunn, and adding more tournaments means more work though, although it would be cool to discuss further in the cla maybe?

What do you guys think about me creating some sort of guidelines for qualification? That way when benga or someone else creates a tournament or event they can follow the guidelines if they want them to count towards the ranking. It would also give individual clans the headsup on whether they should treat it competitively or if they can use it as a practice/tune-up event.

Then I said something about cart before the horse etc.

Shall I make it a (quick) cla discussion thing - "Guidelines for Importance of Clan Events and / or F400 Ranking System?" - some kind of consnsus on different levels of event and whether they should count towards ranking?

I imagine if any conclusions are suggested for you to consider, it would need to be fast, otherwise it would probably be tricky / impossible inputting retrospectively (as relative rank between the clans that played may have changed)?

Or, is there a link so someone could create a version sooner with Random league and/or CD-event results incorporated, in case it is determined to be includ-able later?

Or, would it be a massive headache to have anything to do with events that started ages ago, and best just to decide these things for the future?

One technical question - relates to my earlier point which farang answered about the value of a narrow win - would draws (RL and CL4 have them) be problematic - I imagine not?

Well, i enjoy seeing it out on the first. Its like rent - something i get to look forward to and easy to remmeber. Thats why rents not due onthe 13th of every month just "change in the months, look at the updates"!

I liked the rating cuz it was regular, and easy to find. hiding in a newsletter full of other stuff is not my idea of a fun thing to go play hide and seek for in another forum. I come here for the ratings (the clan area).

I will still post it here. Just a little late. I like seeing updated rankings too, hence me taking over a dead ranking. I have posted several times that anyone that wants it can take it.

Do clans post their results somewhere for finished wars?

There is a thread for it already which is being kept up with by the person running the F400.

I look in the completed clan wars thread for the results. There is a database but it doesn't get updated very often.

The Dispatch will continue to try release the ranking as the last article in the newsletter, so you can either go through the rest to the newsletter to get to it, or just jump straight to it.

Here i just check one thread, and i find out any updates questions concerns whenever i check it. the dispatch will be a bit more annoying to find the latest one in a huge list of them, then scroll thru looking for the latest update.

this was a much easier, more regular thing for people to check. yes, its not "a lot harder" but its a lot more inconvenient then just having one place to look for a certain rank update. especially for slow connections or where people are mainly using iphone (like me) where scrolling thru the forums is a pain in the a$$.

Again, the Dispatch has the quality of giving you information on all aspects of the CC scene, so the contra being that if you perhaps aren't spending a lot of time in the forums, you can get all the latest info you'd want, in just that 1 place!

Of course, if you just want that specifics, then I can see why you'd prefer coming here, but the truth is, Gunn will continue to release it in these topics according to the same schedule he was using previously, the only difference being that he's now going through the extra effort to get it ready and release it earlier for us in the Dispatch, which I'm sure you agree is a laudable endeavour. So while I do hope that you will join our avid Newsletter readers, you won't really be missing out if you just check the ranking here, since it will still release accordingly here.

However, the dispatch anniversary issue has been released, so if you're willing to take the time, and are willing to see the earlier release for the latest F400 rankings, just follow this link:

I dont click on the newsletter article area ever. I have a few times, but i'd rather not. I'm already in clan area often enough, so having timely updates here is great. I haven't played with any sort of search functions, however clicking thru spoilers to read stuff is always annoying on the phone. So again...its just easier to come here. Got nothing against the newsletter, my only complaint would be if this release is delayed so that it can be first viewed on the newsletter instead. if its being released EARLY at the newsletter, and released ontime here...then thats fine with me.

Would someone be willing to look thru all the CL4 threads and get me the final scores of whatever skirmishes are finished? I'm out of town and working so I have limited time. I need them by March 1 or i'll to leave them out this month.

Gunn, will you be able to update this for me at the end of sign ups for the Conqueror's Cup?

Can you please explain a little when new clans get added to this list? I am concerned I will have clans with 2 completed challenges who are eligible to play but they won't be on your list yet.

I'd appreciate it if we could work together to create the best outcome possible.

I believe, IAs challenge against BotFM isn´t included yet.
