I've adjusted the leagues and will post late tonight the final versions of how the leagues shaped up...still time to get in under the deadline, but sign-ups close at Midnight (PST) tonight, so act quickly if you want a spot. Looks like 148 is our number for this season.

all right the team lists are finalized...I'm still taking reserves.
Give me a week to sort out the season schedules and we'll get started...I'm aiming for first games to go out sometime toward the end of the first week of November.

thanks for signing up...for what it's worth...this league often brings in at least a few reserves, so if you're early on the list, you'll probably get a chance to play.

I've posted the preseason top-25 using a loose formula that weighed last year's results and factored in CC rank points for new coaches.
Georgia Tech tops the rankings, while reigning NCAA champ Butler comes in at #3 and the other finalist from last season Purdue starts the season at #8.
Those will be the rankings for the first three weeks of the season, then I'll start posting the RPI, which factors in strength of schedule/quality wins/margin of victory, etc.

Expectations run high at basketball schools such as Yale -- let's just hope the NCAA's new graduate-rate policy doesn't keep the 'Dogs out of the tourney
