But I never was good at that conventional sad face type of empathy... it's not that i didn't feel emotion, it's just that it was always more real for me to say something that would make them smile, and not mope around like they do at a wake...

illness and injuries are unfortunately a risk to each of us here. it's nice to see the outpouring of support from the majority of posters, from across the spectrum of clans and usergroups.

fortunately the positive voices far outweigh the few who seem unable to feel empathy and prefer instead to troll a heartfelt thread.

Actually I do not get that at all from those post. Skeptics for sure, but how many times have people posted good bye and come back? I am not saying this will be one, but I hope so. Nobody wants anybody to die here, I just think some are not buying the story.

Well I have googled her name, and home town (it is all there in plain sight on the internet.) Also checked out the police blotter looking for this attack. Since she is an actress, it would be somewhere online. So I doubt this attack happened, it doesn't make sense that she has been bleeding internally this long, and they recommend a coma to help her. And if it is to put her into a coma till she passes, that is basically assisted suicide and not legal in most of the US. I think it is BS. Either she is a) comitting suicide b) leaving the site and wanted a big goodbye or c) going away to be incarcerated or institutionalized. If she is really dying, I feel very badly for her and her family. I simply think this is a farce.

The skeptism from the BPB's does not seem like they're trying get points for coolness in this thread, just as a whole they dont buy it. Despite some of them writing things that are somewhat prickish (even though they could have kept it to themselves); they are, as invisible people like ourselves, entitled to putting thier opinions in this thread and from what I've seen have followed forum rules and guidelines, while not resorting to the name calling and ill-will-wishing( I Know that's not a word) that some of the Insom supporters/sypathizers have done in response to their skeptism.

I'm not advocating for the bandits and I doubt they would want me to but they do raise a couple of somewhat valid points, which may only be explained by California having retarded laws and social sytems

And if what is happening with Insom is true then yes that's very sad shit and I and others (inluding them) wish as humans upon other humans that things work themselves out for the m best.

I can't imagine internal bleeding for so long either.. or a punctured stomach. I can't imagine they would even let you go home after realizing that you have all those things wrong with you..
If I were about dying and had to go to the hospital, I would be with real friends and family, not sitting in an online chat waiting for something to randomly come pick me up.

Well, I've read Insoms post more closely and it does appear slightly odd; although, I won't judge as clearly "something" is wrong.

For a person in this bad of shape, I don't believe would be released from a hospital; if so, the doctor should be fired and/or sued, although, I guess anything is possible, however, unlikely. Secondly, I am very familiar with the law and all states are very similar just different wording in their criminal laws; no way would this guy be released and back on the street in two days for this type of crime unless this paticular person could not be positively identified; this however is possible and believable. Third; removing the online status strikes me as the most odd especially during the timeframe of these posts.

I do still believe something is wrong; to the extent of inevitable death; not so sure and I honestly hope not. As Tisha stated, whatever is wrong whether physically or mentally, I sure hope a speedy recovery will be the result and whatever happens will only be determined by the man upstairs. We shall see tho; people that frequent this site cannot stop cold turkey; a weening stage is almost always the result and most of the time, the people more often than not return.

We have the uncanny ability of being adults who have seen much of life, both tragedy and happiness. No one ever acknowledges when we are right about CC stuff. they just want to call us trolls, and then ignore the facts.
