Is it subliminally hidden in there? I could hardly tell. I guess the texture looks sort of ashy.

I suggest looking into perhaps the history of the Philippines for some ideas. I came across one fact that said it is known as the 'Pearl of the Orient', so perhaps you could use a pearl in a clam shell image. Really that's not a good suggestion, since that wouldn't go with the map very much, but you see what I am getting at. Some research may be needed.

Are the numbers readable enough now? I give some steps back, but of course I will add the final art again...

About the legend, I couldnt improve it... It would demand a BIG effort, and you could dislike it again, so I gave up... Unless I can solve the problem with something more simple (like a border, or a different font), it will stay as it is. Of course, if someone want to do the legend to me, I will accept.

                  Final Forge

---The Philippines Map has reached the ‘Final Forge’ Stage. I've revived this thread from the pits of the Foundry furnace and have examined the contents. Nearly every major concern has been addressed. If there are any other current concerns, please make your voice heard. There will be two days for you to post any objections; if no one has posted any protest after two days the map will be deemed finished with the 'Foundry Brand' of approval and will be submitted for live play. If after two days there is still discussion going on it may continue until said discussion has reached the conclusion that the map has reached its final and polished version.

Post questions and concerns if any.

So, I believe the map is quenched. But, how about these light backgrounds for the numbers? Now, the numbers are pretty visible, but maybe the background could be a bit darker. What do you think?

Again, I still need center the numbers and add again the art. Dont worry about this.

those powerpoint surfboards are still there...
some of the circles kind of obliterate whole territories, maybe they could be a little smaller? or to one side of the smaller islands?

Most numbers are off, but they will be fixed. The issue at hand is more the legend. Marv, have you continued work on it?

it looks good but it's a little to tall. I have to scroll a little to see both ends.

No, Im not working at the legend. I announced already, I can accept help of anyone, but I myself will not do another one, unless it can be simple like change the font, or size of the letters, etc.

And I believe the circles should be over the islands, this is on purpose.

New version. In fact, I changed the legend, and a bit of the numbers backgrounds. Again, numbers not centralized yet, but I will correct this later. Lest choose between the old legend and the very simple new one. I also can add the word "Bonuses", or something alike.

Soon, I will add art again, and make the other version. So, its done.

Eh...why is the continent called Tagalog? Isn't that just the official language of Philippines? Wouldn't that be like calling part of Brazil "Portuguese"? :?
Currently on vacation. Sorry.

Is it really the name of a language? I didnt know it... But these names are from real regions there, I will look for the map I got it, and I can post it here. Of course, not all regions have exactly same borders in the map...

Is this good enough for the small version? If so, I will make minor corrections in the xml coordinates, and add agains some art, to consider the project finished. Opinions?
