All right I got it fixed...boxscores are updated...most games are in the middle innings. I'll send out fresh maps over the weekend.

Game 7454773 is another hit. Give me a grandslam because I was getting stomped before I came from behind on the count. :D

Hey Flex, quick question. If you're pitching and you beat your opponent in 5 rounds or less but there's no one on base for the DP, what's it recorded as?

That's just a ground out in that case...same with the sac bunt or sac fly...if no one's on base it doesn't matter...just out on a bunt and a fly out for those.

Boxes are updated...everyone has their 2nd time through the batting order...and some are getting their third time through.

Yes, I was tired last night and had the wrong tourney header on the first-round 141 pound batch.

No worries, the games should still work, so ignore the header and just play them out. :)

Hi Flex - question for you...

Before the tournament started I asked a question based on a scoring example and you replied with the following:

flexmaster33 wrote:On a double, a runner will score from 1st base.

However, in the current boxscorefor the DOM-BRI game you have the following:

"drunkmonkey RBI double, Luca to 3rd... BRI 4-1"

Based on your rule above, both of Luca's runners should have scored - the one on the 3rd and the one on 1st, making the score BRI 4-2.

Can you please look into this and clarify? There's a good chance I'll get swept in the next 3 games, so this could be a difference maker.

Many thanks

After further thought and additional comments from other players, I decided to make a double just an advance 2 for baserunners to provide a greater difference from a double and a triple.

So yes, a triple is runners advance three bases, while a double the runners advance only two.

sorry for the confusion on that.

Yay, this Tourni is fun, even though I haven't got a clue about Baseball itself, and I'm even winning a few as well. :)

Gooooooooo, Santiago Hammerheads. 8-)

Thanks for clarifying. Was hoping we'd eek out an extra run, since I'm getting defiled in this series, but that's OK.

Hey Flex, I saw that you sent me some of these games. I don't remember signing up for this tournament. Were the games labeled as these supposed to be the NCAA wrestling ones?

Boxscores are all updated...been a busy week, but I should be able to get fresh maps out soon. Most opening games are coming to a close, so Game 2s should start up Monday or so.

good luck, all.

Another question for you...

Cashing in rainbow sets - do rainbow sets cashed from the pitcher count towards a stolen base for the offense?

nope...rainbows cashed by batters are the only ones that count toward stolen bases

We have our first final with Jenks taking a 5-2 win over Reynolds ... boxes and standings will be updated once photobucket goes back up (down for maintenance right now).

Also, wanted to ask people to keep up a decent pace of play since we have so many maps in this tourney. Enjoy and good luck to all, flex
