I'm calling in reserve players atm. 6 of the 8 groups are running, the other 2 have active owners that I wait for to join. bridieputt didn't log in since Thanksgiving, I'll wait another day but have another reserve from round 1 ready in case he doesn't log in.

group Q already finished, Colonel Krink won with an amazing 27 points ahead of LucaV (16p). the two advance to the quarter finals.
thanks to ETROPAL and Timmy Two Steps for participating. they were both #2 in their round 1 group, while Colonel Krink and LucaV won their round 1 group. so the 2 favorites managed to get to the next round. congrats

round 2 is now officially finished.
group W couldn't finish the last 2 games but benga and ThrushAAX were already qualified. it was just a matter of clinching first place in the group, which benga left to ThrushAAX.
group S only finished one game. the winner and runner-up of this single game will advance to the QF. with 50 of 56 games finished and 7 of 8 groups having reached a decision, I feel that group S had enough time to finish at least some more games. as it seems, players rather wanted to go for the win in the games than the QF, which is their right and I'm perfectly okay with that. so gas and Jpcelticfc advance to the QF, which should start as soon as they accept the invitations.
round 3 / QF will run until March 4. that's 45 days.

round 3 standings are updated now. I will, from now on, update them every other day. I was abroad until a few days ago and there wasn't anything to update before I went away, that's why it took me a while.

This tournament thread has not been visibly updated in a while. By “visibly updated” I mean that the thread has not been bumped for at least 2 months by posting a new post or reply.
We routinely check the last few pages of the “Ongoing Tournaments” Forum for inactive tournaments. If your tournament thread is on those last pages, we have to check to see if your tournament is still active, which can be quite a lot of work.
Please help us in our quest to find inactive tournaments and update your thread regularly and then also
post that you have updated it (if your tournament is still active). This will get the active threads and tournaments bumped to the first page, and significantly lessen our workload of checking for inactive tournaments.
