I read and comprehend quite well, thank you.

No, I'm telling you the reason certain Consitutional elements were passed, historically, to fight against the idea that someone, anyone, who's a citizen of the United States, who hasn't had their rights taken away for committing some abhorrent offense and not yet paid society's cost for it (felons), should be prohibited from voting because they can't spell or because you (or anyone) believes they're insufficiently informed.

Although, if someone did happen to think laws like that were a good idea after all, I'd say, "inability to discuss intelligently without use of profanity" should disqualify a person from voting; there are other adjectives, after all.

go fucking f*ck yourself... you're a blow hard back fucking peddling your ass back to fucking kansas...

Indeed, it is true, I am a fan of explicative language, but that should not suggest in the slightest that I am incapable of making a sincere argument against... hmmm... what were we talking about... oh, yes, your slanderous attempts at painting me to be a racist. It is utterly absurd of you to suggest that I am a racist when I am merely stating my opinion. It really suggests that you are prejudiced against those that you even suspect are racially motivated in their arguments. I made no mention of skin color, nationality or gender, whatsoever. In fact, like so many in our media today, it was you that played the race card, making this conversation about race while my point was strictly on the merit of the person casting the vote. After all... If you do not know what an abortion is, have never seen documents of testimony, or otherwise researched the procedure, how can you actually vote one way or the other on the issue... how can you have an opinion on the matter?

No sir... were this a serious forum, with serious people, and serious opinion, then you just might see more responses such as this from me... but it is a matter of fact that just a few threads down, is the comparison of homosexuality to ass sex with a horse. Friend, I fucking can tell you with a fucknig straight face, this is a joke of a forum... it is fucking called monkey business, after fucking all... and you can still go fist your ass hole, and that of your fucking mother for all I care.

There you are with your use of adjectives again; and there you are assuming people didn't inform themselves of things before they voted; and there you are assuming that because you're walking like an historical duck, and quacking like an historical duck, I'm accusing you of being a duck, simply because I point out where people have walked and quacked before.

Did you help register anyone to vote this past year? I did. I happen to know from that personal experience that for the most part, the reason most of the citizens of my community weren't registered is that they'd given up; not that they weren't informed, but that they'd given up on having a candidate that would listen to them on the issues they cared about. Most of these people were quite informed, asked intelligent questions with proper adjectives and had specific viewpoints. There were a couple who were asking for information and where to read up; many did so. A couple had lost their voting rights (felonies) but had paid the price, so merely needed information on how to clear that up so they could vote NEXT time.

A few of these people saw me and waved on Election Day as I was walking the lines to help ensure people were in their proper polling place (Florida's a bit notorious for screwing things up by changing poll locations just before elections, and this election was no different). Several spoke to me after, thanking me for helping them get involved in voting again, saying it was because I'd brought them hope that someone cared enough to listen, and that even if the candidates they voted for didn't listen, they were participating in what makes America great: the democratic right that all citizens in good standing get to vote, something people overseas are dying (literally) to have.

Do your sentiments concur with that? No, you compared yourself to racists. You also assumed that just because someone hadn't registered to vote meant they weren't informed about candidates or issues. I simply pointed out the history of Constitutional changes to voting, why they occurred, and that your sentiments look much like why those changes had to occur. I didn't call you a racist; but you did.

So what the f*ck did you do... lie to their face, because their candidates STILL don't give a f*ck about them... And don't try to turn the fucking table... you fucking compared me to a racist. I defended against it.

You have graciously fucking pointed out that there are those that choose not to, because they believe that it is a fucking waste of their fucking time... guess what... they gave that goddamn right.

If you want to go out and get people to the poll's... have fucking fun with that. but no where in the constitution does it say that you must vote. It's much funnier to read if you think of fucking as being the actual act, and not just a word that adds emphasis.

"you just set a bunch of saps up to have their dreams dashed against the fucking rocks"- the rocks where people f*ck. It's a fun way to look at arguments that use swearing lazily and unimaginatively. Shift the intonation and make "fucking" the adjective that describes the object.

True true, I conflated a couple of your posts. The one where you suggested some people shouldn't be allowed to vote, and the one where you suggested that Obama voters shouldn't have voted. I was, as you say, doing what many people on this thread have done. Add 1 to 1 and arrived at 2. You of course, never mentioned 2.
