I am not color blind, nor do I have an old computer, but I am finding almost impossible to tell red from orange from pink in the new color scheme.
I agree with those who said that option "B" is the best. I tried using widow's color changer, but hadn't much luck .. and don't have the time to really play around.
I would like to see you keep grey as nuetral -- being consistant is a big benefit.
However, why not introduce black and maybe something purple. You would need to watch the blue/red tones to make sure it doesn't clash, but it should work. that is, Black, red, blue, bright green, bright yellow, teal/turqoise, either bright orange or more of a "peachy" orange (and no pink) OR pink, bright "lilac" purple. If you want to go brown, I would suggest a tan/ beige, but with care to keep it separate from the orange and/or pink.
Hope this helps... if not just ignore it.

but each color has a black outline, if you made the numbers back they may not show on teh darker maps.
What do you know about map making, bitch?

Just for the record, it's amazing how different computer will show the colors... I'm used to my mac laptop, but the colors on the PC at my mom's place are completely different, leading me to the conclusion that there will never be a perfect color solution.

You can change that. It's just the way the settings are, whether they're from the computer itself or just the monitor. Some monitors can't show certain colours, or have a certain degree of accuracy, say, 2%. Or possibly it's set to a different type of colour (true colour vs. high colour). Anyway, if you have a half decent monitor and good settings on your computer, it should be fine... People always have the colour codes

1. the new player 6 pink is very hard to define on some of the maps, even the older maps like middle earth.
2. why can't one player be black ( he could be the designated baddie in all games and everyone would "get him first") LOL....no seriously black copuld be an option.
3. a light chocolate brown (or simliar) could be an option also.
4. what about olive/karchi
I haven't played an 8 player game yet so i can't comment on the two new colours.

yes Yes YES!!!!!!
Definitely add the BLACK... besides, it's an original RISK color...
I would prefer C with the last color as Black...
The WHITE, just like the new pink, is too easily mistaken for neutral...
Totally...

ty for support, black is a most and can change the blue a wince to notice the difference and would be much better than those reds blending so closely, agreed?
