I'll be a mentor, between 2-3. Prolly a bit closer to 2. I am a 1st class private, that explains it.

I'm new, a mentor would certainly help.

I've played a demo version of risk once before, but I lost miserably, so I'd say I'm a fresh beginner. mentee lvl1

Thanks for setting this up =]

I could use a mentor as well. Based on the listing, I'd consider myself a

3 - Been here a bit, but need help winning games

Currently I'm about 1250 in points and am moving up. I play only sequential games but everything else I'm open to (I like classic and 2.1 the best). I have questions about certain situations I'd like to go over, primarily related to placement of armies, attacking/defending late game, and other strategy related items.

Thanks!

I am a mentoree

Hi all,

This community is great! I've enjoyed my time here so far. I'll be spreading the word. Maybe if I behave, my wife will get me Premium Membership for my birthday in February!

Anyway, I'm only in one game. It is my first Conquer Club risk game. I thought I was doing well. I'm not so sure at this point, though. Its game number 1477770.

I'd rank my skill at 3. I'd enjoy having a mentor. Thank you in advance!

joshmelrisk

PS. In the game, I took out memechoix in round 6. I got 3 or 4 cards from it, but had to extend to pull it off. Was that a mistake? Its probably hard to say. It looks like one now. The log shows how things rapidly deteriorated for me after that. Maybe I need to be diplomatic?

Mentor for Teams

Post by Quicksigns »

I would consider myself a 2+ or 3. My specialty is Classic Triples No Cards, But I can hold my own on most of the maps. I know that there are alot of people who can't make there turns and have to miss, so I can also volunteer to help out. But only if the players in the games know what is going on. Also, if you need help with Greasemonkey, I can walk you through setting it up. And, for you cooks out there, there are no real monkeys involved.

I am a total noob to CC and would love a mentor. I am fairly successful at the board game but have a feeling my friends aren't top flight competitors. I would call myself a level 2. I am more interested in the team game but i will play anything. are the mentors on page one still the people to pm about mentors?
thanks in advance

ok i'd like to enlist for both sections (is that allowed?)

1. Mentor - level 3 (I can hold my own in most games and have played the top ranks regularly)

specifics:

a. willing to offer advice about sequential singles games
b. i know fairly well the more complex maps like age of merchants, age of realms or any other gimmicky strange weird map.
c. i'll help just 1 person (sorry but my time is limited)

2. Mentoree - level 4 (Need help with a specific game type, e.g. freestyle, escalating, etc... )

a. i know my way around singles but i suck at team games.
b. freestyle is still pretty much a mystery.
c. i'd appreciate a mentor with a similar ranking as mine to teach me team games and possibly freestyle.

Sir for the new ranks who need basic mentoring, we have opened the society of the cooks. This is a teaching school of the basics of Classic terminator....

In the forum the student, when it is his turn would post the game # and what he thinks he would do . Then the Instructors post what they might do different and why.

This teaches the player to think and to learn.

Although this school is for the lower ranks, You do not have to be a cook to join, but you do need to want to learn the basics.

We have about 30 students now and few are very active.

PM me if interested in joining
