What about the plug-ins and add-ons forum? Shouldn't it be in there now?

Suggestion Idea: We have a card counter why not have a territory counter!
Specifics: The number of territories would appear by each name.
Why it is needed: It is cumberson to have to count the opponents territories and add the ones they gain and then subtract the ones other opponents took away. This way you could know exacly how many men they are getting next turn!
This has been suggested before. I think it could get denied because creating/implementing a program isn't worth it when you could just count them by yourself in 5 seconds.
I don't see why you guys find it so hard to get the greasemonkey script. It has a bunch of other nifty feature's that you'd want too, in addition to just counting territories.

Counting all your terrtories in World 2.1 ummm no way in 5 seconds.
Suggestion Idea: Next to the player name (alongside to the card counter) there should be a territory counter.
Specifics: It could consist of a small icon and a number, similar to the card counter.
Why it is needed: It would help people get a comparitive idea of how every player is doing territory wise, and would make it easy to calculate how many armies that player will recieve next turn.
Priority: 2
I know how slow things move around here, so I'm not holding my breath, but I often find myselft counting territories of other players anyway. I'll often try to take an extra territory if a player is right on the edge for getting another army next turn. I would think this would be a simple addition, but go ahead and debate away...[/b]
I always sit there and count everyone's territories.
I also play from work on my lunch and breaks, where I can't download firefox (becuase 99% of the world is on IE)
And I have no intention of downloading firefox for my home computer. I just don't need more stuff eating away at my computer, just so I can add a little tool for a game.
lackattack wrote:I'm classifying this as Pending. It would be a nice feature but it is a low priority, especially since greasemonkey handles it nicely for may players.
Pending? If counting territories is too hard for some people maybe they shouldn't be playing this game at all. Either that or don't play on maps that require you to use your fingers AND toes.
<Subject>:
Concise Idea: Territory Counter - Like the card counter
<Body>:
Suggestion Idea: It would be nice to see a territory counter next to peoples names (n/a in fog games though)
Specifics: Would be alot like the card counter - showing territories owned
Why it is needed: Some bigger maps it would be nice and even smaller ones...i know i sometimes make 1 more attack to drop my opponents deployment by 1. Just a thought
Get BOB. First, you need to be using Firefox as your internet browser. Then go into the Plug-ins and add-ons forum and get greasemonkey, and then download the BOB userscript. It has all sorts of useful information and tools

We are not forcing anyone to get it, they were just telling them a way to have this feature, as it will be quite some time before this is part of the site.
Plus it allows them to have many other features they wouldn't normally have, and that lack just can't provide, such as the turn notifier in your browser window.
