Nebraska lost to Kansas in a blowout with Kansas taking an early lead by taking Africa in the first round then Kansas held with an amazing defense around them (neutrals), Nebraska never even came close to breaking their defense in a quick loss.

Baylor beat the Texas A&M Aggies at College Station...The Aggies had a minor crisis during the game, their tractors broke. :D

Arizona State...at just 10-6....charging into the top 10. NICE!!!!!! Unfortunately, lackluster effort from their players during the holidays (ski trip for me) led to a crushing defeat, but they will try to get it back against UCLA.

Game 19s are up...

Post by flexmaster33 »

The Game 19s are up...and I will try to update the top-10 rankings and the standings later tonight...

My son (Shane) is due back in the hospital for a checkup and probably second surgery on Thursday, so I'm not sure how the rest of the week will go, but I should be around during the late nights for a bit. This one is a slightly more minor surgery and the doctors are expecting it to be the final step before he can recover on his own...of course, there is a slight chance he won't need another surgery depending what the scans show Thursday. Of course, that's what we're praying for...we've spent enough time in the hospital this month.

LSU is also on the verge of beating Miss. State at home

Post by flexmaster33 »

Here are the latest top-10 rankings with Alabama holding a slight edge for the No. 1 spot based on their perfect record through the SEC..holding off the Trojans of USC who picked up a big win against No. 8 Arizona State to take command at the halfway point of the Pac-10 season.

1. Alabama (13-3)
2. USC (14-4)
3. South Florida (13-4)
4. Boston College (13-4)
5. Iowa State (14-4)
6. Colorado State (12-6)
7. Florida (10-5)
8. Illinois (12-5)
9. Baylor (12-6)
10. Auburn (13-5)
Others receiving votes: UConn, Southern Illinois, Creighton, Indiana, UCLA.

Also, pms have been sent out to everyone still needing to join from the Game 17 or 18 set...no worries, I know the holidays were in there. Hope everyone enjoyed them....

Got good news from the doctor today...our expected surgery did not happen. The doctor said our son looked like he was doing well...they're going to give it two more weeks before running another CAT scan to make sure he is still improving on his own...they felt it could be about a 2-3 month long process, but that beats surgery. Our boys was 10 weeks preemie, so catchup growth is the issue in this...I guess by the time he gets to 12-18 months old most of those worries should be gone.

anyway...hurray for good news!!!

Also, the Game 20s are up...good luck to everyone down the home stretch :)

My game with Rutgers (17) is still going on, round 23 I think. This needs to go on ESPN Classic.
