One year over where I live, the school board for Burnaby (Semi-Suburb of Vancouver) called a snow day when there was a huge storm predicted... and then the storm just missed us. Worst "snow" day ever, but it was nice to not have to go to school.

Then, there was a sizable snowfall in the forecast last year, and every single school board in the Vancouver area canceled school except for Burnaby because they didn't want to risk making another bad call. Turns out they managed to it anyhow, because half of the students and teachers couldn't even make it in the next morning. :x

I don't think I have had a snow day in about, oh say, at least 7 years. Even though last year we had several whiteouts a couple days straight.

f*ck ALL OF YOU!

my stupid principle lives ON CAMPUS, so she feels that if she can walk the 100 yards from her front door to her office, the whole school should be able to come in.

We had 0(zero) snow days last year...

My priciple was an ass, all of my classmates would agree with me on that. Hell, because he wouldn't cancel school, I ended up having to walk to school DURING those whiteouts! :x

It does snow a lot in Summer, doesn't it? Quite annoying. Haven't seen any for the moment for a while.

Yes, in some regions. A lot of it is man made though. I live around 7 hours or more away from the closest snow field. Yay. That means I don't even see snow. Ever.
