WEAK against the STRONG!

Post by Jallen »

I have been acccused of suiciding twice now for attacking the strongest player that was about to attack me to gain my cards. I was not going to win the game but i was not attacking inorder to kill myself but to prevent another killing me.

Surely i'm not expected to just sit there and get rogered by the strongest player. But when i attack to prevent an attack even if i'm the weakest i'm considered to be suiciding.

Can we have some discussion on this subject as i feel high ranked players just expect the weaker players to just rolll over and die???

People complain when i deadbeat when im shafted, people complain when i attack the strongest when im shaftted, am i just meant to attack the piddly little ones that surround me in order to let the strongest player get extra cards before i die? Not attack so i'm easy meat? Because there are some idiots on here who get upset when you spoil there plans and die fighting!!!!

WHAT DOES EVERYONE THINK???

You play to the best of your ability at all times. that is how you play this game. If you think attacking the strongest player is what is needed to do this then that is what you need to do. after looking at a few of your games Deadbeating is not to the best of your ability.

ive always had good luck as the weakest player by just trying to stay out of the way and not get killed, you can always come back. being weakest usually just means you wont be targeted in a flat rate game, and in an escalating game someone will inevitably try to protect you so that the strongest does not get your cards. (assuming you are playing with skilled players that is)

if you are playing a bunch of cooks, your probably just gonna get gangfucked tho.

Depends on the situation, If your the weakest player your best option is usually a passive one, since you will loose if you go 1 for 1 with someone stronger, however if you are breaking the big dog down to keep the game going longer so you have more a chance to come back then that is good. I do think that just going bezerk to kill yourself off is bad form but attacking with stratagy is the basis of this game.

never dead beat, that's first. never just give up, that's second. and third, you make the best decision possible, if lying and waiting for the other two to fight it out looks like a possibility and you might be able to build back up, then do that. If you think you might have a better chance attcking the strongest and hoping the other player does the same then do that. It all depends on the situation, but always remember one and two.....

u know what i recently discovered?

in a 3 or 4 player games, it is best NOT to start fighting right away, but just lay low and build up, otherwise, if u are the stronger power, u will get smashed by the other 2/3.

Back to subject at hand:
never deadbeat, that pisses anyone of more then anything else. Un less of course u got a very valuable reason.
If giving up, is what u are all about, then do it. But i would never do it. I sure as hell lost a lot of games, but i fought till the end in most of them.
The best choice, if u know u are going to die, is to put all ur effort in an all out attack. It never works, but u feel good about urself.

When you have no to little chance of winning-- remain as impartial as you can. Let the others outplay each other...... nothing worse than someone playing all mighty and determine the winner themselves.

You play to win. There's no such thing as a lost game until you have been eliminated.

^exactly!

Do the best you can with what you've got... sometimes that means attack,
other times fortify as best you can and hope for a better opportunity.

When I feel I am about to lose, I just build up my armies, and sit still. and wait to be taken out! Sometimes, you can build up enough and make a comeback. But it hardly ever happens.

Hardly ever? Do it right and early enough and it'll practically always happen.
