Question how are the groups being choosen? And what map won the most votes?
how will you choose the maps for round 3,4,5 since everything else got 1 votes besides british and classic. Also shouldn't it be that only the people that made it to round 3 should vote on the map for round 3? It seems unfair that say someone who was eliminated in round 1 votes for World 2.1 which ends up as round 3 map but no one in round 3 voted for it?
Just random questions:D

Groups are chosen by arranging from lowest to highest in player score at this particular moment, then going "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8" three times, this way you have a high, medium, and low ranker, all relative in each group...
Since only two maps got chosen for more than 1 each, the first map will be classic, the second will be british isles, and at that point I will put the OTHER map choices of those remaining into a randomizer to pick, so the maps for round 3, 4, 5 will be maps not yet played but chosen by at least 1 person still remaining
Pairings are up and on page 1 (as will continued updates)... just waiting for tournament privs to set up the games..
Everyone will receive a private message with game info as soon as i get setup privs..

okay so I have a little bit of a problem with this set up. First of all it was never announced that this was the way it was going to be played. I think it is an extreamly unfair way to set up a torny without saying thats how it will be. It gives higher ranked player an advantage right off the bat.
I think that at least for the first round i think the groups should be made highest ranks together, and work down the line.

this is my first tourn... that does make sense when you spell it out like that... i think i'm going to take your advice and regroup in the a.m.
i got my tourn privs so i'll regroup from 1-24 in scores and group accordingly for similar groups to start... and have invites out tomorrow
