And 4 played Doubles Assassin just be doubles?
Or essentially it would be first team to lose a member loses the game?
Not sure it works too well for me.
6 played doubles would be the closest to it working.
Terminator would work though.

he said not that a team must kill a team, he said that each person must kill someone
Yeah but in assassin as soon as one person is dead then that's game over - so for 4 player doubles and triples then it's simply first team to kill one member wins the game.
no idiot every1 on 1 team has to kill 1 member of the opposing. Once one member of a team kills the other he just simply helps his teamates
Yeti is correct there wouldn't be assassin, it'd just be a normal game of doubles or triples. The Assassin game type doesn't care who kills a player to win, just that a player gets killed. If you put the limitation that an entire team gets killed in two team games, isn't it the same thing as a normal team game? The person who's target was killed would just concentrate on the remaining enemy like a normal game.
The only way it would be different would be if a player got assigned to kill his partner instead of the opposing team.

terminator and assisin team games
this might have already been suggested but here it is anyway. I think that instead of having only doubles and triples standard we should have a team terminator and team assasin

Assassin Doubles
Suggestion: A doubles version of assassin mode.
Specifics: It would operate the same as regular assassin, but the teammates work together to take down a certain team.
Priority: 3.5-4
I quickly checked the To-do list and couldn't find it.

Team Terminator
would only work in 6 player teams, but what if you could get points for eliminating a player on the other team? or just for eliminating another team even if you didn't win the whole game?

Team Terminator
Just how it sounds. Terminator but still a team game...over when other team is eliminated but you get negative points for taking out your own guy?

Re: Team Terminator
Ok..First of all..3 threads, no forms. The stickies are your friends.
On to the subject..
First of all, what is this idea? Taking out your partner can be a crucial strategy for team players to win out a difficult situation.
I know you cannot give points for taking out your partner, but you can't give negative. If this ever sees the day ( I doubt it will, and wouldn't play it ) it will have to give 0 points...Then again, the opposing team lose the points completly. Hard to make it work.
Second, it could very well end up as your teammates taking out the opponents, giving you a whole 0 points. Correct me if there is nothing wrong with that...
Terminator is a free-for-all battle, keep it that way.

Team Terminator and Team Assassin games
I think they should add two new game types: Doubles Terminator and Doubles Assassin.
In doubles terminator, each time a team is eliminated, the person who eliminated the second player on the team (thus eliminating the team), and the partner of the person who got the elimination, would be awarded the same number of points as they would if they beat the other team in a regular elimination game. For example, let's say there is an 8-player game with
Team 1: players A and B,
Team 2: players C and D,
Team 3: players E and F,
Team 4: players G and H
Suppose player A gets eliminated, and then player C eliminates player B. Players C and D would both get the same number of points as they would if they won a 4-player doubles game against players A and B. This would only be allowed in 6- or 8-player games. If it were allowed in 4-player games, then that would be the same thing as the 4-player doubles games we already can play.
Similarly, in doubles assassin, each team would have to eliminate a specified target team. Using the same 8-player scenario as before, team 1 would have to eliminate team 3, team 3 would have to eliminate team 4, team 4 would have to eliminate team 2, and team 2 would have to eliminate team 1. Whoever succeeded in eliminating their target would be the winner. The game would end when both players from one team had been eliminated, and the winning team would be the team who had them as a target. Of course, targets would be randomly assigned. This would only be allowed in 6- or 8- player games, because if it were done in a 4-player game, it would be the same as a regular 4-player doubles game.
I think it would be a lot of fun to be able to combine team games with the terminator and assassin game types.
