I don't know in particular what it is about ABBA I despise most. Is it their sickeningly cheerful lyrics? Their cheesy tunes which torment and stick in your head for weeks? Their god-awful music? I am allergic to them.

why does most people who posted in this thread hates goth & emo music, i am goth and i like both music i have MCR, Slipknot, Arch enemy etc.
though where the are sing/grunt/scream on one tune i think its boring, but i don''t hate it ;)

though i hate rap, i would went crazy if you would let me lisen to that an hour or something

It's tough to pick one band. My Chemical Romance, AFI, Panic at The Disco, and HIM are all atrociously mediocre bands specifically designed to cater to the lowest common denominator and/or "angsty" kids with "difficult" lives out in the suburbs, oh the horror of having your dad ask you to take out the trash!
Well, now that I think HIM is probably the worst among the bands I listed, the vocalist's voice is so limp and weak they have to hike it up in the mix like crazy just to be able to make it audible, the guitarist is just flat out painful to listen to, you can just hear that he's struggling, the keyboardist flowers around here and there, rather boring, and the drummer could easily be replaced with a $50 drum machine and no one would be the wiser. My girlfriend fell in love with the "Venus Doom" CD and to be honest with you it sounds like diet Tool with about a 1/10 of the talent. Perhaps the worst part of HIM is that they have the gall to call themselves metal, these mascara wearing fruits couldn't pass for metal if they were composed entirely of iron.

Wait, I never compared them to Metallica, they never even came up in my post.
Either way, they're not quite the worst band, even if the music they've made since the Black Album has sucked royally at least they can consistently perform their crappy songs live, most bands today can't even do that.

I can't stand Aerosmith. Probably not the worst band around, but whenever I hear or see Steven Tyler I want to puke. Ugh...

I feel similarly about Marilyn Manson.

Agree completely regarding Anal Cunt. I mean, I have no idea how they've actually managed to sell one album. Their grindcore 'music' is pure shit.
