actually it adds. it looks much better now especially for the darker names like patagonia and gran chaco.

well done.

Not quite sure what you mean by this?

1. You don't like the glow

2. You're wondering why it's not "q worded"

I mean, what happened? Is there still something to do, or are we just waiting the quench squadron?

just waiting for the q-squadron (I won't say that word yet)

we got a basket of bananas, banana splits, banana shakes, banana coloured pants, and banana shaped pencils waiting for Andy.

I'm sure he's just busy and he'll get to it when he has time.

I love the colours

Post by chetnik »

I am picky towards the colours,
so far, the only good taste in colours is THIS map, alexander the great, middle east. But anyhow, can't wait to play this one.

uh..... i hate to bring this up.. but I think the ocean could be a better a bit darker...

a nice light blue may work for the tropical Caribbean... but it feels out of place here.

I like the color it is now. I think changing it may require the title color to change and right now they have a nice contrast. The water is still obviously water either way.

The water color could go either way for me. It seems the majority of the people that have commented seem to be alright with the current option, but we can see if anyone else feels the same way as mibi.

Closing stretch. :)

yea. I kinda like the water as it is.

as for spinwizard. you have to be more specific because well, no one else has mentioned that and all the labels are right on the territories so I have no idea where you are getting mixed up. To be honest, I think there is a problem here. unless you point out something glaring to me. well. I just don't have any clue where they are clear.

Perhaps somewhere between mibi's post and the original could solve the 'green freshness.'

Hate to say it this late in the process, but the darker ocean looks substantially better. I wouldn't say it's a dealbreaker, especially since I'm not the one that's going to have to be making the changes, but it is an improvement on an already great-looking map.

I also hate to say it but I agree. I never would have picked that out, but seeing the 2 side by side does make the darker one stand out. Still a great map and should be quenched here in no time at all...

I agree, and it can't be too hard of a fix.

I like the lighter water better, but I think I could live with it being this dark. It's not as dark as mibi's but I think this one works.

To Do:

1. The darker river revealed that the land has spread out past the river borders in quite a few areas. Scientists are trying to figure out how this phenomena started. I'll be working on erasing and redrawing tomorrow.

2. Remove the glow from the legend. I think it'll look better considering the dark background. At the least, I'll see how it looks and if it's horrible then I'll just lower the glow, or figure something else out.

OK. Will do that tomorrow because I want to watch a couple episodes of the Wire right now.
