I think its a fair punishment -- because he lost everything that he cheated for. Also if he is truly a good player I have no problems seeing him back at the top of the leaderboard. I think you people are just fussing way too much about a simple game. People deserve second chances but if he proves to be a habitual cheater then by all means we should ban him/her. This applies to all sorts of sports (think of red card in soccer).
If you want to punish krusher more, stop talking about him and stop creating new threads.

In response to jr's original question a score reset is fairly weak punishment for someone like krusher who will easily fly back up the scoreboard.
If it was enforceable he needs to get a ban the sooner the better, some of his posts on this thread alone suggest he deserves at least a forum ban so we would not have to listen to his drivel.

Don't now why people on here don't like being cooks, remember under siege: A former SEAL, now cook, is the only person who can stop a gang of terrorists when they sieze control of a US Navy battleship.

If I understood you correctly (and I may not have, it is 2:45 am here) you are saying because krusher is a good player (cheater or not, you can't get Conquerer without having some skills) a score reset isn't much of a punishment. But if he was a bad player, it would be fair?
You can't change the rules like that.

maybe the punishment could be, he has an upper score limit which once he reaches they reset again
that seems to be what people are hoping for, if he is good he will climb the scoreboard fairly and thats fine. i think the people at the top are just worried hell start beating them fairly........

then how can you explain that he knew the times when she logged in?
why would i lie? do i have any interest in doing so? think about it, are you really sure it can't be done?
my best guesses because i'm not a computer expert is that each player has a pattern like it or not without knowing it you actually have a pattern when logging into CC you check your inbox take turns check forums, post something, etc. this pattern can be verified and if someone else logs on your account then the pattern is no longer the same.
for example when i log in if i see i have something in the inbox i go there directly and just after that i go to my games. if i don't have any urgent turns to take i go to the forums and come back later to take the turns. if somebody else logged in on my account and saw an inbox message but go straight for my games without opening the inbox that would be a break in the pattern.
probably CC doesn't have such capabilities because if they did they knew exactly when skyt used all 3 accounts at once, but i'm telling you it is possible.
this is done in many games to prevent account passing (when a player gives up he sells/gives the account to somebody else)

hehe you're a top Man DiM and as much as i would like to argue with you against this silly little person (Crusher).. i am not sure that this a viable method to bust someone or even identify someone to bust.
Sure, your mate may be able to discriminate by pattern of behaviour and identify when an alternative player is logged into your account... but only when he already knows to specifically look for it.
I think we need better arguments against this strange person.
How about something along the lines of
"what kind of weak minded chap cheats in an internet game and then rats on all his friends?"
" ... what maladjustment in a persons general essence could then lead this very small character to attempt to gain a tiny victory over the community by remaining above it all and aloof? Appearing not to care when he obviously cares so acutely that he'll waste hours telling us that he does not care?"
and if those arguments fail maybe:
" nur nur ne nur nur .... you lost all your points! You wasted months of your life cheating people out of... hehe you have fewer points than a blancmange and less friends than a leper who wants to borrow some money for his designer shoe addiction"
Crusher is actually quite a funny guy though in a slap-stick kind of a way... and a little too ridiculous to get really upset over.

as i said before i don't know what tools he used as he never told me and i never insisted because he had to agree to not share that secret. because i'm no computer expert the only solution i could think of was the one with behavioral patterns. perhaps i'm totally wrong perhaps i'm not i don't know and honestly don't care. the point is he knew when my wife logged in so he had the means to find out.

You can't change the rules like that.Either a score reset is a punishment or it is not. He doesn't even have any games open with high ranked players that are going to net him a ton of points. His ability to climb the scoreboard (fairly) doesn't play into it.
i aim to confuse
my point was a point reset is a bigger punishment to some players rather than others - somone like Krusher whom I have no time or respect for can and will climb the scoreboard relatively rapidly again as in the particular type of games he plays against the type of opponents he usually has he will easily mop up handy pts. I do think it was right to reset Krusher but this punishment will not effect him as much as it will some others. If you read Jr's first post he makes a similar point if hypothetically JR was busted for having a secret alliance with me and his score was reset JR would zoom back up the scoreboard because of the skills he has at this game particularly in the types of game he usually plays.
Benjicat is a good example of what I am talking about (he never cheated, although he possibly cheated on his wife but when the mistress is an online computer game of world domination it doesnt really count) his wife played a nasty trick on which saw him drop from a high ranked captain to a lowly private in a short space of time, yet he very quickly got back up to major.
Im not saying Krusher is anything like Benji or JR, but I am saying some players (who may just specialists at one particular game type) can easily zoom up through the ranks.

actually benjikat fell all the way down to ~230 points then climbed back to 2500+ and now stabilized back to where he was over 2000.
indeed for somebody that knows how to play getting to 2000 points is relatively easy. depending on how many games you play and what gametype you're specialized in it may take as little as 2 weeks.
50 6p escalating games can bring you a lot of points in a short amount of time even if you win just 30% of them and let's be serious for a player that has been to 2000+ it's really easy to win 30% of escalating games played versus people with 1000 points.

With him being proud of all this and rubbing it in the face of of the CC community should be enough to complete this task. Can't you see MODS, nothing has changed besides his mere score and membership; big deal!
Thats fine
He then either plays fairly or continues to be an arse and he gets banned again - The site both sets an example and pockets $25 each time he returns.
codeblue1018 wrote:You guys are missing the whole point! He states he won't play fairly. Rid him forever and as a result, we can discontinue these threads about this absurd player. He openly admitted that he wouldn't stop cheating. So why continue to have him here????? Cmon guys, wake up! Lets get him out of here permanently! These threads are what he loves to see and we (NON-CHEATS) seem to give him what he wants.. When he;s gone, so will these threads. Hence, NO MORE KRUSHER! Who is in for this?
No, No, I think you all are missing the point.
Krusher should have his points reset every time, without being banned. That way, Krusher would be happy having his legend in the CC hall of rogues, Lack would be happy making a fortune every time Krusher's points were reset, and the rest of you could just place Krusher on your ignore list and get you negative feedbacks deleted, and I can get some of Wicked's cookies, and everybody could live hapily ever after, and then some..........
"You can't rule the world in hiding. You've got to come out on the balcony sometime and wave a tentacle"
lol thats actually a good idea reseting my score every 2 weeks or so it would be funny as hell, I like taking 15-20 points from privates and 50 points from majors, it would just mean I get more chanse to f*ck up the community by taking every ones points and then geting it all deleated crashing the point value and making it harder for every one to get a higher rank.

no, the score reset wasnt the punnishment.. the real punishment is everyone laughing at him as they are as he posts and posts and posts trying to justify and qualify what he did
he found himself in the bottom of a hole, and just keeps digging away...
one simple apology, and show of character would have made the whole thing go away, but I guess the only way he could show any character, would be to use one of his friends to post, since he doesnt know what it is
someone breaking the rules is one thing.. everyone makes mistakes, especially 16 year olds... Its the ones that laugh in the face of it that are truly devoid of character.
Keep posting Krusher... dig away
