how this for an idea. I will have a look at the map, providing you dont start any more in the time this is being worked on. And if you finish this you will take some time before posting a new idea and think it through.

im working on it slowly but dont have any major brainwaves yet on how to do it in a good japanese style, so dont hold your breath.

I can't see that or your sig. There should be four types of links you can use for each picture on Photobucket: Email & IM, Direct Link, HTML Code, and IMG Code. I think your problem is that you're using using the direct link, then putting [img] tags around it. What you want is the IMG Code, which looks something like this:

Instead of color dots have you considered using docks like age of merchants and then connecting them with the dash lines like DiM did?

i think theres room to move the legend up and maybe you could use flags or something to denote pairs of docks
