Our species of Human will die...but we will evolve into something more spectacular or enhance technology that will save our ass.......that is if an outside force doesn't kill us by then

Am I the only optimist here?
As long as no-one starts chucking nukes around in large numbers before some sort of infrastructure in space is developed, humanity should be fine.
An asteroid colony (screw planets) is both self-sustaining and cheap, so you can produce them in such numbers that it'll be very difficult to destroy them all.
Hell, if you really wanted to, humans could colonise the galaxy with nothing more than artificial womb technology, decently smart AI and some sort of cheap dependable thruster.
Once a race has colonised more than a few solar systems, it's going to take supernova or Neutron Star collision level catastrophies to take them out.
A few hundred years more, and humanity will be set for millions of years to come. (unless there are aliens involved. Then humanity is srewed

NO! We won't be around...we will be something else.
See for yourself!
This is what we will end up being, all because of stupid human wars!

Unless the "War on Terror" goes nuclear (not hugely likely), there isn't really any appreciable chance that it'll impact humanity's chances of survival one little bit.

Nnnnnnnnnnnnoo...
If global warming is to wipe out mankind single handedly, then water would have to cover essentially all available land. Unfortunately for you doomsayers, this would require remarkably more water than is available.
Anyway, if somehow it did manage to exterminate humanity entirely, it would, in the process of doing so, also have exterminated everything of reasonable complexity that didn't know how to swim. That's got to be quite a few hundred million years of evolution, down the drain.
Screw with western civilization? Yes. Destroy humanity? No.
