No, sorry, when is it EVER in towns interest to lynch without a claim? You're either scum or bad town players, or smart scum playing a double bluff - either way, it's scummy play or bad play. Guess we'll find out soon...
Well, to be particular, there would be situations where a lynch without a claim would be appropriate (if you're a cop that knows something, for instance, and want to lynch scum before he lies his way out), but this was not one of them.
Thats never happened to me except when a cop has specifically said they investigated me and found me as scum.
Yeah, I talk sense and get lynched. Or I get bandwaggoned and get lynched. Or I get skim lynched. But I think scum are going to win this game. I can live with getting lynched for a dumb reason.
You talk sense? All, I've seen so far of you is being lynched in 2 games (one where you supposedly vig killed ga7 night one for a bit of joke vote hopping ) and lay into and get abusive with NES in another game, which I never like watching happening in mafia games.

Umm... I was scum in the first game you mentioned, made a fake role claim of being a Vig. Which would have worked if people had bothered to read the claim, but they didn't. I didn’t get lynched ‘for being a vig’ – I got bandwaggoned for unrelated reasons, and skim-lynched before anyone could read the role claim and consider it. I didn't get abusive with NES, but I was set up - we were both given cop roles in error by the moderator, so I naturally assumed he was scum. All of which you'd know if you'd read, as opposed to skimmed, those games. But this kind of skimmed distorted summery is exactly why playing mafia on this board is so... challenging.

PS, In addition to this not actually happening, you apparently must have a problem with 90=% of Mafia games on this board that NES is involved in! He get's far rougher treatment from 'regular' and 'experienced' players than he did form me in that thread, and with less good reason too. Not seen you protest before...
I wasn't in any of those games as I was already NKed or not a newbie, I can always pick up a general impression however just by skim reading. I don't care how good your claims were, though claiming to have vig killed ga7 is a dumb move anyways. Yeah, if you say so - I still say anything I said to NES has had far more justification than anything anyone else has said, so singling that out for criticism is pretty lame. I'd just spent time specifically trying to prevent a lynch NES bandwagon (!!!), and he responds by voting for me? I think a WTF response was justified. But as you've just admitted to trusting your impressions to skim reading, you've kind of told me all I need to know about your playing style, TBH. If you're going to judge my play on skimmed impressions as opposed to what actually happened, there's not a lot I can do or say about that, is there? I don't have a 'superiority complex' - but just as clearly, I don't yet understand the dynamics of this game at all. The lynch today only makes sense to me for one of two reasons, neither of which are terribly complimentary about the other players, I'm afraid. Don't really want to go into that though, given that I'm dead and all.
I could write something longer dude, I just can't be assed, also I'd rather not waste my afternoon arguing with you. If you think your lynch was unjustified maybe you should just have a look at your own playing style, which is fundamentally antagonistic other than blaming your lynch on the other players in the game .
