the problem is, if you address this issue, than you have to address all the players using the same IP playing team games.
you know all those players claming to be "family members" using the same computer or dormates.
so if you would block all these members from playing with each other, than they get pissed off and leave the site which is bad for business.
so you have to determine which is better overall. Players being permitted to play together with the same IP or players being forced to play against them. Either way, 1 side is not satisfied. And I use the word force because they always join as the 2nd team.
Im sure if a 2nd account was set up on my IP it would be blocked immediately.

Get rid of freestyle for at least the team games and you're half way there.

Sorry, I didn't realize this was still floating around as pending.
They were never officially warned before, though I also thought we made it clear in the first thread that they were bending the rules. Account sitting when someone is not going to miss their turn is abuse of the babysitting privileges simply to give your team and advantage. And it is not allowed.
KA officially warned them when this thread was first created. I'll check on it in a few weeks and if it looks like they are still doing this they will be blocked. I don't want to have to resort to such measures since this would be such a lame form of cheating

Wow. I have never really read threads like this before, but have a question.
Is this only an issue because they play freestyle games. My wife and I play sequential doubles games together now and then and to speed the game up I will take her turn for her some evenings after she has gone to bed even though she could take the turn herself the next morning. Would this be frowned upon?

yes it would, it is ok to account-sit, but not when it is not neccessary. although if you are playing sequential doubles it is not being abused in the way that these guys were abusing it in freestyle triples.
