top ten polls

Post by dantheman1991 »

well, if we're going to toot our own horn then you got to like S. Illinois 3-0 record and being atop the Missouri Valley. I say it deserves a bottom 5 pick in the top ten poll.

Bruins still undefeated and #1..... I just hoping there's no East Coast bias in the polls

standings have been updated through this morning...still about half of the Game 4s need to be finished...I will be sending out the next set (Game 5s) sometime Wednesday...league play is looming just a week or two away for some teams...

By the way, it feels good to have hoops highlights back on Sports Center...like a breath of fresh air :)

Alabama over Kansas J-hawks

Post by WalkingShadow »

Alabama crushes Kansas in 5 rounds with an easy win and gets back to .500 after two blowout losses. possibly worthy of a top 10 spot??

Hey Flex - you are doing an amazing job with this thing by the way - I love the write ups and the scoring system you have developed. I promise to start voting for a top 10 soon. Thx for all your hard work to make this fun

Creighton is out...

Post by flexmaster33 »

The mods have gotten to the bottom of the elephant ninj4 fiasco, apparantly a shadow of Kyle16 so Creighton is gone...we also have a couple newcomers that will get us back to the original 70 teams. I will send out pms with more details later tonight...sorry for the mess.

This tournament will perhaps trump spidey's work with the full NHL season. Very impressive for someone to keep up with so much. Great work!!!

Where can we find a total listing of the game scores? Just curious. Can it be added to the alternate site you have created?

fun exploring the different home courts

Post by flexmaster33 »

Wow, one of the best things about a big tourney like this is exploring different maps...at least for boring players like myself who recycle the same 3-4 maps all the time...I've found several already that I plan to add to my rotation...Siege, Italy...but what is the deal with the Doodle map...that just looks silly and the games never last more than 4 rounds?

I do not like the doodle map. Siege is one of my faves - Age of Merchants also is quite fun.
