Y'all rang? =)

Sorry about that, been a busy week between the radio and doing stage work for WWE. (Ever wonder what backstage is like at a pay-per-view? It's fun! Ever wonder how much equipment it takes to put on the show? A lot! Ever wonder how heavy it all is? VERY.)

Almost through Week One

Post by flexmaster33 »

Well done everyone...for the most part week one went smoothly and quickly...All of the Game 1 set is either complete or active, while about half of the Game 2 set has been played...still need 6 or 7 players to sign in for their Game 2...pms have been sent out to those vacant players.

A basic schedule, so you know when to look for what...
Wednesdays -- New set of games posted.
Thursdays -- Top-10 poll released
Fridays -- New set of games posted, standings updated
Sundays -- standings updated
Mondays -- standings updated

Also, check http://www.flexmaster.blogspot.com for the current top-10 poll along with stories of the week that will be updated at various times to give updates of big upsets, major matchups and such that are happening during the week.

This tournament is extremely impressive. Nice work!!!

However, I am not going to like the story written concerning my first game that will finish very soon. The #1 team shall fal just like the #2 team did. LOL

Game 3s are up

Post by flexmaster33 »

Only a handful of games remain from week one and all are active...looks like our only deadbeat so far is Vanderbilt (albionholic) and let's try to keep it to just one... :)

Game 3s have been posted and are in the original post on this thread. Remember to utilize the Game Finder option to make your game search much easier.

Good luck this week everyone...Game 4s will be posted sometime Friday, and I will update standings late tonight after all the draculas and warewolfs retire for the night.

this has gone really well so far. Good job, just one quick question...how is the schedule being generated, is it just random? I'm not looking to complain or anything, I am just curious, it looks like it has really mixed things up.

I'm interested in that myself. I would love to have conference schedules, rivalry games, etc. to look forward to, unless The Plan Is There Is No Plan™. Either way, this is the most fun I've had in a tourney so far!

schedule

Post by flexmaster33 »

The nonleague (early-season) portion of the schedule is pretty much random with the exception of some big rivalries (Louisville-Kentucky) or things like the Pac-10 vs. Big-10 Challenge that I'm trying to include.

We should each get between 7-10 nonleague games depending on which league we are in, then the league schedule will be a set format starting in several weeks.

I'll try to post full league schedules before we get into that part of the season.

Of course, we finish with the conference tourneys and finally with a 32-team March Madness bracket.

NCAA investigating possible point shaving by Texas...

Post by cazmart »

AP wire:

Boston College used full court pressure and completely demolished Texas in a battle of unbeatens. Early talk out of Vegas is that because of their lopsided defeat the NCAA has gotten involved. They are investigating a possible point shaving incident. Texas Coach; Pat McCrotch stated "There was no point shaving, hell our points did not even have hair!" Boston College will be considered and early season favorite after its victory. Reporting from a bar on 6th in Austin, this has been Gotmy Assbeat reporting.

Villanova Defeats Auburn (1119332)

Nova a very quite 3-0, people are talking they deserve top 10 consideration.
