I didn't read the thread so I don't know if it's been mentioned, but it isn't Day of the Dead. Thats the first or the second of November.

Dias de los Muertos traditionally spans over 2 days. The children's spirits visit on Nov 1 after midnight, and the adults on November 2, although festivities begin on Oct 31 in preparation for their return. In many areas, Dias de los Muertos spans over several days, or weeks.

A nuke could come in handy too. Just make sure you're not anywhere nearby when it goes off.
