i'm trying, really trying to wrap my head around this one. It looks fantastic, but what is it? I see a bunch of shit in space (and I mean that in the nicest possible way), some of which can or can not attack each other, and some of which can bombard other things way across the map.

Buckles? Shapeness? Spaceness? Is this based on something I'm not familiar with? It may look and play fantastically, but I fear that the more abstract a map is the less it is played.

To make my point more clear...

I see... so the main problem we have going on here is that there's no story, nothing for people to relate to?

Ah ok. I see.

I guess this means that the legend should be clearer for poor dolts like me  :(

I don't really know how I can make the legend clearer with regard to that... any suggestions?

This is a damn good-looking map.

One quick thing: I much preferred the whitish attack arrows. The red ones stand out too much, and that's the first thing your eye goes toward (well, after the big honkin sun in the center :D ), rather than the map itself.

Just one other thing... "Deryer" is the only teretory name that isn't on a level plane... might it look better if it was?

It's called Ness 0 and not 1 because it's special; it's the only one that can be attacked normally from a place that isn't another Ness. As for the word being sideways... I guess I really should change it.

WOW! This is perhaps one of the most brilliantly designed and thought-out maps I have ever seen. As someone who loves the game of risk and all its derivatives, I can greatly appreciate the unique strategies and creative thinking that must be applied to a map of this caliber. The fact that there is a forced need for temporary alliances serves only to keep the game play real and alive. The shapeness, which can attack any other shapeness regardless of map positioning, enables the intelligent player to apply a whole new degree of creative strategy to an already compelling and captivating game.

The fact that this map is based on an "outer-space" theme shows the depth and breadth of the creator's imagination. The artist took our favorite game and created not only a brilliantly laid out playing field but combined it with a truly picturesque scenery. Because this map combines the truly singular nature of the game of Risk with the awesome splendor of space, I believe that it will be a tremendous asset and immensely enjoyable board for the entire Conquer Club community.

That was a well thought out opinion, stryd3r,(is it aragorn or hiryu) any way i appreciate your articulate and unabashedly truthful words. If only the vox-populi echoed that impressive string of verbiage. A great man once said "when in rome...."
Although, you are a man of your obviously honest and honorable words, I would ask that you scoure the minutae of the SpaceNess and find faults in it, because If this map is as fun and entertaining as was said above, There could be no sequel for what would be there to improve?

Is this dead? If not, I'd like to know what people think I should do next, and if so, I'd like a definite end...

Well you need a small version that is 600px wide. Other than that, if everyone else thinks this is good I don't have anything to add. Pass from me.

I think it would look better, apart from that detail the map looks fantastic.

Looks good so far. Just a quick question ...

Is there an attack path from Halo to it's Rings?

The way I see it Satt has two way attacks with Pi on Omicron and Urnn has two way attacks with Skwinnt on Praetos. They can also attack each other. Are there two way attacks with Halo - which terrs? Or one way (if so, which direction)?
