Learn to Spell
I find that many a conquer club player cannot spell worth jack squat (i.e. Elite Core). I know most of you don't care but it bugs the hell out of me because I think it's more out of laziness than stupidity.
The art of concentrating strength at one point, forcing a breakthrough, rolling up and securing the flanks on either side, and then penetrating like lightning deep into his rear, before the enemy has time to react.

I think there are distinctions: there are the genuine spelling mistakes (the kind I do all the time), the abreviation to save time (like using numbers instead of letters), and the people who write weird to look cool (like alterning caps). Genuine spelling mistake don't really bother me, cause I do a lot, and I understand people who do to. Also, english isn't the first language of many people on this site. Abreviations to save time is sometimes irritating, but most of the time its ok. And as for people who write weird to look cool, they are the one I find most annoying.

Just to be obnoxious...
I wanted to correct the sentence structure as well, but I'm just too tired now.
Marcol, did your ingrish teacher hate you in school or what?!

Gotta go easy on the french guys
. I've only started being "good" at english 2 years ago. I have no problem understanding it most of the time, but writing is an altogether different deal
. And as for s' mistakes, I do that in french too so bleh
. Schools are bad at teaching languages, unless you really want to learn it. And 14 years old kids usually can't be bothered.
P.S. Yeah I'm sure there's a million mistakes once again

... Foreign players have every excuse (non native speakers of English, I mean to say).
... Native speakers have no excuse, but who needs excuses? This is the forum for a game site. The poor spelling I see all over the place gives me cause for concern with regard to the education system back home, but it doesn't bother me beyond that.
... Private schooling may be the answer . . .

I'm a native English speaker and I ALWAYS check through my posts before I posts them just to make sure there are no mistakes...
I agree with Nobunaga, non native speakers should be given a chance, I'd be damned if I was going to go into a french or any other foreign forum and make as little mistakes as these guys

Poor spelling annoys me too, but I'd have to say my biggest pet peeve is the misuse of the word literally. Even on the news you'll hear the anchor say,"It's literally raining cats and dogs out there." I wouldn't want to clean that up. And the sportscaster,"He was literally throwing fire last night." What are his hands made of? Asbestos?

For example someone writes: "Your right" and some pompous git comes along and just posts: "*You're*" or something along those lines. . .
I wouldn't do that. If the reply was directed at me I would ask "my right what?" or if at someone else "his right what?"

I'm sorry to ask Mjolnirs - but just so that you can make it clear to everyone - what wouldn't you do?
