i stopped off at a burger king in oregon somewhere with a hitchhiker i had picked up, who combined dr pepper and coca cola from the drinks machine. He said this was perfectly logical as they were both heavy colas. At the time i thought i had been given the secret to an enlightened and blissful existence, but he turned out to be more of a friendly stoner than a guru. Have never felt able to change it.

I like reading classical poetry and Longfellow was one of the original members of the American group known as the "Fireside Poets".
Longfellow, Whittier, Holmes, Lowell, and Bryant, but I like Longfellow's works the best. "A Psalm of Life" is my fav, hence the name and avatar.
Tell me not, in mournful numbers,
Life is but an empty dream!
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
And things are not what they seem.

Well you may not have known it, but you actually had a huge meeting for this. You called all of the great minds of the world to think up of a name...
"Hello everyone, got any suggestions?"
"How about C.IsleRealBrown?"
"Thats stupid"
"D.IsleRealBrown?"
"Done, meeting ajourned."
or something of the sort.

Origin? A fictional character I created from the Mechwarrior games/RP System.
In the Mechwarrior games I run, the Free Worlds League (House Marik) is controlled by Vincent Torquemada Marik, hence V.T. Marik... VTMarik.
It developed out of TrueMarik1, my name on a few sites from way way back, which was initially inspired by House Marik of Battletech/Mechwarrior.

I'm a total geek. Not only did I create my own mercenary company (that rates a B+ on the Dragoon's scale), I also wrote up rules to convert Shadowrun cybernetics to run in Mechwarrior.

I don't have any miniatures... All my battletech gaming was done with wooden tokens and paper.... I'm a total minimalist, plus i'd have the unnerving urge to paint the miniatures and if you've ever seen me paint a model you'd gouge your own eyes out with a spoon.
