Mac Help
Can anyone help me with greasemonkey on mac 0SX 10.4.1?
I cant seem to get in to install properly and work at all.
I can see it on the bar that says tools and can check enable it but nothing seems to happen.
Same with all other tools XML etc
oh and I am using Firefox as my browser but it didnt work with the previous version either

tried install scripts tried it all nothing works
Huh, 'cause I used to use Troy's, I just tried Bob, I have Conquer Tell AND the Dice Analyzer and it all works fine...
Troy's and Bob only works when AJAX is disabled though, which is done through My Settings, but the other two are good...
I don't know what to tell ya...

Did you download Greasemonkey BEFORE you tried to download a userscript?

Go to My Settings, and then there should be a selection that says whether or not AJAX is on, and then turn it off...

Yea I searched for that, but I only see JavaScript and Java.

BladiN,
The My Settings is in the left navigation part of the CC web site. You should see it on your left [under Personal Menu]. The one you are talking about (Java/JavaScript) is probably part of the Firefox settings page.

Any Mac users out there with msn that can lend a hand?
pm me and let me know
I have a mac. All I did was I downloaded Firefox, downloaded Greasemonkey, and then downloaded Bob, AJAX Bob because I have AJAX turned on. I've done it on Windows as well, and it works the same way.

Here's the steps I did to get it to work on my Mac.
1. Download the Firefox.dmg from firefox.com
2. Double-click on the downloaded dmg to mount it.
3. Drag the Firefox icon from the mounted dmg to your Applications folder.
4. Started Firefox from the applications folder and went to the menu bar and clicked on tools->addons->get extensions.
5. Searched for Greasemonkey.
6. Clicked on the Greasemonkey search result and then pushed installed.
7. Waited for install to finish.
8. Clicked on restart Firefox.
9. After Firefox restarted, confirmed that Greasemonkey was installed by going to the tools menu and finding the new Greasemonkey option. It should pop-out a side menu that has enabled and a checkmark by it. If there's not a checkmark by enabled, click enabled.
10. Went to http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/13076 and clicked on "Install this Script" and then install.
That should do it for you or anyone with a Mac. Let me know at what point the process breaks down for you if you have any troubles.

You should do software updates till you get to 10.4.11, Apple Menu->Software Update.
