N Am vs. Europe vs. The World [WINNER: negoeien]

OK so here's the idea.

There are 11 maps that are Europe centric (Ancient Greece, BeNeLux, British Isles, D-Day Omaha Beach, Europe, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Portugal and WWII Eastern Front). Alexander's Empire is partly European so we'll add that to bring the Europe total to 12.

There are also 11 with N Am themes (Canada, Caribbean, Great Lakes, Montreal, North America, Pearl Harbor, RailUSA, San Fran, USA, USApocolypse, USSenate). We'll add Artic in here to bring this total up to 12 as well.

For the Word we'll use 12 regional maps as follows: (Asia, Africa, Australia, Battle of Actium Brazil, Hong Kong, Indochina, Middle East, Mongol Empire, Phillippines, Valley of the Kings, WWII Iwo Jima).

There will be 16 players in each bracket each will have a home map (with 4 maps being duplicated in each bracket). All settings are sequential, flat rate, unlimited, casual

Players will play 16 4 person games in the first round. Its a winner take all game as the winners of each game gets a point and nobody else gets anything. Everyone will play each of the maps at least once and some twice

After Round 1 players will be ranked 1-16 within their region based on wins. The top two spots will advance to the world finals for a 6 on 6 series against the champions of the other two regions. If there is a tie for the second spot it will be broken by a one game playoff on the following map: For Europe-Europe. For North America-North America For the rest of the World-Battle for Australia.

The 6 champion representatives will then meet in 4 6 player games on Classic, Extreme Global Warming, Doodle Earth and World 2.1. The champion wins the most games in the championship round and if we have a 2 or 4 player tie those players will replace the 4 maps.

Must be a premium to join this tourney as all 16 round 1 games will be going at once.

Top two in each region advance. Tie breakers will be played on Europe, North America or Battle for Australia depending on region.

Standings are subject to correction until all games are finalized. Games won are in parenthesis (all start with 10 then the number shown)
bold indicates that the player is finished all 16 first round games.
RED indicates player cannot advance to round 2
BLUE indicates that a player has clinched at least a tie breaker game for the region
GREEN indicates that a player has clinched a spot in the finals.
