does it botters you? It's just because the land is darker than the sea so the transparant gets darker on the land than on the sea...if you want I can start trying to change half of the name to make it looks more the same...

Well, personally if you'll excuse the vulgarity I don't give 2 fucks about half the improvements made to maps in the foundry, but I'm 97.6% sure someone will mention it if it reaches final forge, so cleaning it a bit would be nice. I can't imagine it'd be too much work, either, though I'm no expert.

Going to need consistent images first. I think everyone is mostly satisfied at this point otherwise.

Yes...now that those legends are consistent...i'm certainly happy with both version Coleman.

I think this look tremenedous. :)

Yabon is seeing distortion similar to Crydee, it might be best to fix them both at the same time.

another minor nitpick.

the note at the bottom should read:

not territory boarders

rather than:

no territory boarders.

Another little thought. I see no problem with the current army circles but could we perhaps see a version without the circles and a version with some more transparency please? If thats not to much to ask for :D

Seeing it from gimil's perspective for the first time. not may be better then no.

I was reading it to be, "[picture] are paths, there are no borders."

Would a diagram down there showing that 'connected regions'(are they regions, or cities, or what?) can attack each other' be better? I think there might be ample space to do this, though not exactly sure how it might look.

Also, I want you to keep in mind 3 digit numbers and overlaps. Yabon on the small map could be a problem, same with Shamata, and a few others on the right side of the map.

Upon a glance, I also thought the "+2 Queg" was a part of the game board...could you make the division between the legend and the game board slightly more definite or prominent, to differentiate between the two areas?

I personally dont feel this is nesessary although i feel it will be easier to understand, in its current state i think its acceptable

I've just noticed that this isn't really easy to fix...the outerglow is used for the whole word, I can't adjust it for only 2 letters...I'll try my best...

the gameplay note is changed

I'll post you a version with some more transparency, the version without circles is just ugly...the roads are leading to the circles, if I drop the circles the roads are just stopping in middle of nowhere

there is space to do it but I prefer to keep it simple and also pleased for the eye, if I use every little space to put some notes it will be ugly...I think most of the people will get it like this...

AndyDufresne wrote:Also, I want you to keep in mind 3 digit numbers and overlaps. Yabon on the small map could be a problem, same with Shamata, and a few others on the right side of the map.

I've taken care of these, I'll post you a map with 3 digits to show you

When there are army numbers on the map I'm sure you will see the difference

It seems the roads get a little lost in the south against (what I presume to be) the desert.

I've been good with it for several versions now. I think further polishing if it needs to be done could happen in Final Forge, but I don't get to FF maps yet.

i can't see the big version but i see the small. even though they're on the same host.

why not try and use photobucket. it's great.

edit// nevermind i see it now. but you could still use photobucket. it never deletes your images and you can sort them in various ways and stuff.

edit// why does crydee have 2 different glows? the first half is pink and the second is red :?

same problem for Riibinon. first half is red and second is magenta.

also i'm having a lot of trouble reading the text on the map. it's very small. either make it a bit bigger or increase the size of the maps. you have plenty of spare pixels till you reach the limit.
