Is the CC system too slow?.WORSE NOW! 10SECS TO MAKE A MOVE!

Is it just my computer or do others find the CC response times when playing or loading "my games" way too slow?...Since posting this and also since Lac's comment the system is now faster...so far,today at least

..and now back to the usual (sigh)....the last couple days the response times have been great early afternoon GMT...but evenings get slower and last night i waited 10 seconds for an attack response. Not to mention 8 seconds just to advance! Yes 8 seconds to advance!!..It can't be my computer since it is fine every afternoon and anyway lack says he will "get round to it"...

hmm sometimes i think its too slow, but other times, its acceptable. i think it depends on busy times when lots of people are online

Your right, I can cruise around the forums as normal, but when i clcik my games, there is a small wait. Nothing too big tho.

Sometimes it is a bit slow, but considering that I have so much time to do my moves it doesn't bother me very much.

I think it's still working into the new servers. And also perhaps lack can tinker around and make things run a little faster and smoother.

i only have 4 games at a time but th emy games page takes a while to load (about 10 seconds to load, when other pages are usually under 1 second)

ive been finding loading up my games to be slow but in the forums its fast

On my computer all of CC is slow for some reason. But it's worth the wait in my opinion.

yes i have noticed it to be slow also. I have 3 different games that have froze up on me whenever i push end attacks and i am not able to fortify or end my turn until my time runs out. THey work fine up until i push end attacks. I have written CC about but they have not answered one email since I have become a member. anybody else having this problem.

Hey guys,

I'm aware that we're having some issues with freezing games and general slowness. I will be investigating the causes over the next few days.

It is not simply because too many people are using the website.

i find with "firefox" its slower but when i use my other internet browsers its a little faster

If you want the site to go faster, i suggest you go japan, over there 100 Mg broadband is standerd and your internet will fly, here i bet most people have 2-8 Mg?

Captain Weymouth has sorted it all out for us, - Why didn't we all think of resettling in Japan, just to get a faster CC experience.
I'm going to be away from my games for about 2 days whilst the plane takes me to Osaka.
In the meanwhile - can someone let ZawBanjito & Nobunaga know that I'm going to need to be picked up from the airport.

I thought it was because I mostly play using a laptop with a mobile connection, but then I can browse most other sites more quickly, and sometimes conquer club is exceptionally slow.

I'm glad it's not just me finding it slow going sometimes.

Yes - freezing games too - I've had those.

Now - without wanting to sound like a desperate CC addict - looks over shoulder - I've found one way around a completely frozen game is to open a new browser window and log in again - then you can keep playing...
