It's like every girl on the net is either actually some creepy old guy pretending to be a girl or a bisexual. Are there any normal girls on the internet? Normal girls that need advice from a thread like this?
Beeing Bi is perfectly normal, you know..
Otherwise, what do you so call ''normal'' ?
..What you mean is you are not nromal for her point of view. Well..Welcome to our dear Earth, dear alien.

Meh, I said normal when I meant average. I have yet to have met a single bisexual IRL so far. But then again I homeschool so the amount of girls I've met can probably be counted on one hand.
My set is a bone coat-of-arms and chandelier! How cool is that?
Oy, I like to believe I'm a normal female. I'm certainly not an old man or bisexual, guess that's not likely to be believe on the interwebz though.
As for the rest of the thread.. tl;dr. So my question is, say I'm dating a guy and christmas/birthday whatever is coming up, I'm not expected to get stuff for 'em am I?

This thread was probably a bad idea but look! 2 out of every five spam posts in this thread are wonderfully lolworthy! Yaaaay!
I'll just give some (likely to be very bad) advice: if a dude that you're in a relationship with wants to hang with his friends instead of spend time with you, let him, and hang with your friends, too. If you want to spend time with him, go with him to his friends.

Edit: In reply to LSU Not really. I'm hoping not, that way I won't be obligated to get something for them in return.
I hate getting people presents. I got suckered into getting a gift for a friend, couldn't find anything, didn't want to spend too much, didn't want to look cheap either, didn't know what they already had etc Sooo I had a genius idea, I'd ask them what they wanted and get that. The answer? "You should know what I like" I wanted to punch her in the face. Haven't spoken in quite a while... aheh. Presents

aside from the fact that im crushed that you meant me....
that doesnt really answer the question, obligations aside, do you like getting presents? most people do. If your gonna buy someone something, the more time you spend in buying a thing usually makes it more akward. Usually you wanna find something that shows you didnt spend all day obsessing over the perfect gift, rather you saw something that you thought they would like or reminded them of you.
If your the creative type then it should look like you spent time putting it together cause then it shows more care, like most homemade gifts or ideas usually do.
Really as far as birthdays/christmas go, it seems like it would be more fun to do something for the person ie come up with some kind of date or cook or put your mind together and come up with something than buying them a gift.

That is good advice. If you don't get him anything then it looks like you completely don't care or are just lazy or too broke to buy something lol
Being creative with it is the best way to go. You dont have to go crazy.. get something small that has to do with something hes interested in, along with a cute funny personalized card is the way to go. Have some sexy lingerie on underneath your clothes too That covers everything.. thoughtful, cute funny and sexy. Guys are suckers for that stuff..hahah

well you could take this advice or you could just bat those eyelids, look a bit sheepish and say you forgot and let him at least get to 3rd base. if not all the way, he will forget about any prsent what so ever.

well Titanic, that is a myth. lesbo`s are not hot, when i was a teenager, there was 2 living behind us. one built like a brick shit house and the other skiny and scraggy, not a pretty picture. then, in my local, there was a couple who use to come in together(they have split up now because the big fat one fucked off with another). one about 290lbs and the other an arse the size of the moon and not nice looking(but she is a Man City fan).

Cant agree mate

Seriously, the best advice for you is to just ASK him if he wants to exchange gifts or not. If you truly mean that you don't expect to get anything from him, then share that with him and let him know that you don't feel the need to exchange gifts with each other.
If you really DO want to get something from him but don't want to admit it to yourself for fear of admitting that you ENJOY the attention - then figure that out first.
