How dare the immigrants leave their shit country?
No, but if they keep coming in at this rate ILLEGALLY (i have no issue with legal immigrants) they will start to take away not only the so-called 'well, regular americans don't want these so why not let them have them instead' jobs -I disagree with that view on the jobs greatly- but also, some of the better/better paying jobs.
Think about it
Yes, I know it hurts
Thank God Theres A Ron Paul

I can back up everything I posted, but Im not gonna do your research you lazy a-hole, but I will respond to your brain dead thinking on this one.
I think youve got a couple screws loose.
Gun Violence vs. Killer Doctors Below.
Doctors:
(A) The number of doctors in the U.S. is 700,000
(B) Accidental deaths caused by physicians per year are 120,000
(C) Accidental deaths per physician is 17.14%
(Statistics courtesy of the U.S. Dept. of Health & Human Services)
************************************
Guns:
( A) The number of gun owners in the U.S. is 80,000,000 (yes that's 80
million)
(B) The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups, is 1,500
(C) The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is 0.001875%
(Statistics courtesy of the FBI)
...................................................
So statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous than
gun owners.
Remember, guns don't kill people, doctors do.
FACT: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN, BUT ALMOST EVERYONE
HAS AT LEAST ONE DOCTOR.
Please alert your friends to this alarming threat. We must ban doctors
before this gets completely out of hand!
Out of concern for the public at large, I have withheld statistics on
lawyers for fear the shock would cause people to panic and seek medical attention.

In a way, yes. Satirical view. Though, I honestly have to say guns do NOT kill people, people kill people and have been doing it since the begining of time. With knives, awords, arrows, spears, sticks, rocks, water, electricity, guns, hands, feet, etc... In other words, guns do NOT kill people. That is one thing I do agree with xtra on in this thread.Iliad wrote:Please tell me that was a joke?

This seems too obvious to have to go out and say but...in all likelyhood the doctors in this country see more than 80,000,000 cases a year and the people they see are probably more likely in danger of dying than someone who just owns a gun and never takes it out. Clearly doctors are not more dangerous than guns, and the label of accidental death is obviously going to cover a lot of things (some probably to cover up malpractice lawsuits no doubt). To suggest that doctors are more dangerous that guns, is probably one of the dumber things ive read on this board in quite some time.

but guns make it really easy. You can't imagine asome random skinny South Korean kid killing 30 people with a bow or stones? Guns are really easy to get in the US and they are dangerous

Were guns illegal, do you honestly think the South Korean kid would have failed to get his hands on one? That's like saying that since weed is illegal, no one's going to get it, when in reality all you have to do is head to your local high school bathroom facilities at lunchtime.
edit- and consider: would the South Korean kid have killed so many people if one of those thirty were armed?

If guns were harder to get there would be less. Obviously there would be illegal activities but even still it would be harder to get them. Guns make it really easy to kill people

there are over 250,000 people that die in hostipitals each year do to their errors and/or getting infections in there.
but lets stay on topic.
rudi is a gun grabber and that is not a Repbulican value.
Ron Paul supports the US Constitution, including the 2nd amendment. so if you are anti-Bill of Rights and guns then vote for Rudi or Hillary

again lets stay on topic, if you wanna bash the 2nd Amendment go start your own thread.
Fair enough. The point is that Ron Paul is far from perfect.

So do steak knives.
But you didn't answer my question.
It is presumable that someone with enough motivation would find a gun and use it, even if they were illegal. But he wouldn't get very far if the people he was attacking also possessed guns.
Like I said - lives would have been saved at VT if someone around was armed.

Im sorry but what you say is pure conjecture,if another couple of people started shooting then there may have been more deaths, nobody can be certain. What sets guns aside from say steak knives is that they serve one purpose only and that is to maim or kill, the less guns in circulation the less people will die my friend.

So you're saying to protect people against maniacs armed with guns give more guns! What a brilliant idea! Everyone will be armed!
Seriously you might as well say let every nation build nuclear bomb if you wants to! We will just save lives by building more nuclear bombs!
And steak knives are not as easy to use to kill other people then guns.

no if guns were illegal then people who buy them legally would have less of them theres a huge market for illegal guns and no law will stop that
most people who want to share their veiws with you dont want you to share yours with them

Iliad, I live in a state where most of the people own guns. And many of them own more then one. Thanks to this, we have low crime rates, very few murders, etc. Thus showing it IS a deterrent to crime.Iliad wrote:OnlyAmbrose wrote:Iliad wrote:OnlyAmbrose wrote:Iliad wrote:muy_thaiguy wrote:In a way, yes.
