New Game type: Practice
There needs to be a practice game type so for people who keep losing they don't lose any points.

Good point, but here is a good thought I had... Why not add a wager feature for the host to use to risk some points along with practice round?
I'm back after an all too long hiatus.

This is a fine IDEA. What I don't understand is the disagreements. Whats wrong with games that one doesn't lose any points in? They should be perfectly fine. A high level player can teach a low level player how to win, and can sacrifice a game without losing points.

Right...
The thing is, with points, once you learn the game, it does not take very long at all to gain points. In fact, the lower your score, the more points you'll win if you do win. And the lower your score, the less points you lose if you lose.
Why do you want learning the game to be a risk free experience?

Dude, obviously the practice game would not have the full features of a real game. So, there would be no reason for people to only play practice games. Besides, only people who don't care about advancing in the ranks would do something like that anyway, and I don't think there are that many players like that here.
Anyways, the practice game would have a round limit and would only have the base options available to the players.
So, basically it would be something like: a 2 Player/Standard/Flat Rate/Chained/10 Round game, or whatever. Make sense?
However, I agree with Ishiro's last post as well. Good point Ish.

the main reason this has been rejected has just been said
once someone gets to a high position all they have to do is play lots of these practice games and only one real game every month and they still retain that position with minimal chance of going down.
now if this were enacted then someone could win a battle royal, go to the topp, and just play practice never going down

Now, obviously I agree with Ishiro's last post, so I don't nessasarily think a pratice mode is needed; but, if it were only available up to a certain rank(if it's even feasible), then it would take care of the "high rankers only playing Practice Games" problem, now wouldn't it.

It would be good for newbies, to a point.
It has been said, if you lose points learning, you would win more when you start to win.
The main problem is having high players who won't lose points playing those. And yes there is players like that here.
Practice games aren't really a good idea, learn the game hard way, better way than learning it riskless.
And I never really saw a beginner beeing bullied on because he is a begginer. In fact, they tend to be left alone while experienced players get taken down.
