sioux it's not what you think is making it longer than necessary, it's that andy is a very busy man.

thats the reason there is now 2 Cartography assistants, to speed up the process. And i have to say there is definetly an improvment already

they can't quench, so now you're waiting on andy.

but the assistants are definately helping give feedback faster.

CA's have the power to quench maps

That is very incorrect. The only time Keyogi ever quenched a map was in Andy's place under instruction by Andy to do so, which we don't have at the moment.

We do not have the power to quench maps at our own discretion.

Didnt that kind of defeat the purpose of giving KEYOGI power to quench? And that pritty much means (at least to me) that ou and cairns only have a title.

To end this discussion here, Keyogi was going to have the ability to Quench on his own, I just didn't want to throw it out there at beginning. As for the new C.A.'s, they'll also be able to start FFing and then Quenching, further down the road. We can discuss this more in the Foundry Process thread.

Now back to the map, it looks quite dandy. I don't see much more else that can be done.

The Final Forge period has concluded for the Portugal Map. All objections have had their time. The Foundry and I hereby brand this map with the Foundry Brand. Let it be known that this map is now ready for live play (barring any Lack vetoes).

Conquer Club, enjoy!
