The uniquivicable truth to the fact that C*C is 100% luck.
Study every game that I have played with dig-it.
He uses ZERO strategy. He marches until he no longer has men to march forth. 99.9% of my attacks on him are at a 3 attackers to 1 defender odds. I lose 72% of those battles.
I have won 4 games to his 17 against me.
The die system on this site is crap and needs to be evaluated and redone.

If he is winning so many games against you, then why do you say he has ZERO strategy? maybe what he is doing is the perfect way to beat YOU.
also, you arent the only one that wants good dice. your OPPONENT wants good dice, also. so if you got all the good dice, he would get all bad and then HE would be the one complaining that the dice are not fair.
And also, i saw this:
KnightWulfe:
Rank: Cadet
Score: 813
Your score is rather low, implying that your strategy isnt that great either.
Why dont you try and figure out a way to beat someone playing the way he does instead of wasting your time complaining about the dice?

That's a good point, but I still think KnightWulfe is on to something. If you simply analyzed the sheer stats of hundreds and hundreds of attacks, provided you compare full attacks, I'm sure you would find statistical outliers more often than one would hope to find in a normal sample. When you look at the attacks alone and the concept of rolling dice, strategy is a moot point (if it's 3 v. 2 like i said).

Dice WINS and loses games, but a score of under 1200 is unacceptable
Strategy has something to do with it however luck does play a large role. Something like 60% Luck and 40% Strategy where luck plays a slightly larger role because even the best laid plans of men can be thwarted by a string of bad dice rolls.
It's kind of like poker, where for the most part the people that know what they are doing perform better overtime but every once in a while a fool will get lucky...nothing can change that in a game that is based in random chance. You can try and execute your strategy and hope that lady luck doesn't kick you in the nuts and steal your wallet and run off with fate leaving you with the kids.(yeah she can be a real b$*#$ sometimes)

i have around a 2:1 1v1 record in my last 40 or so games, (without using any freestyle tricks) so i'd say skill and tactics give you a definite advantage. or maybe i'm just playing a bunch of noobs
yeah. also, if you play poker, you understand the concept of pot odds. try to apply that to conquer club.

I'm a newbie here (but not to war games) so my advice means nothin, but i gotta throw in my 2 cents worth anyway
If the "dice" are truly random then theres no such thing as LUCK, and yet, everyone FEELS they have had good luck or bad luck. Before you hit that attack button, make sure you FEEL lucky. I'll bet any long time board game player will get what I mean.
