what is so funny???

The official story maintains that fires weakened the buildings. Jet fuel supposedly burned so hot it began to melt the steel columns supporting the towers. But steel-framed skyscrapers have never collapsed from fire, since they're built from steel that doesn't melt below 2750 degrees Fahrenheit. No fuel, not even jet fuel, which is really just refined kerosene, will burn hotter than 1500 degrees Fahrenheit.

In this case, yes.

So when there's no evidence to support a claim, those to disbelieve the claim are cultists and brainwashed?

Guess you can't reason with sufferers of True-Believer Syndrome.

weve given you the evidence. go back and re-read.

jet fuel (kerosene) dont melt, bend, break, or compromise steel. Hell ive run a kerosene heater for days and days and days and it didnt do nothing but keep the room warm.

so how is it that is can bend over 80 40-48 inch steel beams and bring the buildings down in less than 2 hours, while the sprinklers were going off.

lol your a boot-licking fool.

Ok, let's see. How hot does that Kerosene heater get? 120? maybe 150 degrees? What temperature does paper burn at? What about wood? Steel gets pliable at about 800 degrees, which is how blacksmiths can make swords and armor from steel. When you have that much pressure on a bending piece of metal, what do you think is going to happen?

Have you studied metallurgy? Are you a structural engineer? Have you ever seen a controlled demolition? Do you fact check your theories? Do you give equal time to both sides of the aisle or do you write anyone who says that the official report is reality off?

Are you fair? No.

Did you read the NIST report? Probably not.

Do you have any grounds to call me biased or unfair? No.

Either give equal time to all possibilities or shut the f*ck up.

Unlike you, I've gone through both theories. After the incident, I was a conspiracy theorist. I didn't buy it for a second. But then as my mind returned to its baseline, my emotions calmed down, and I viewed the incident with slightly more acute senses, there's no evidence to support the theory that it was either a controlled demolition or a government conspiracy.

This government, which can't hide a break-in at a hotel, an illicit affair in the Oval Office, or intelligence briefings on the non-existence of WMDs. A government that has more leaks than a strainer. This government, which is incapable of hiding anything, somehow orchestrated an incident like this, got thousands of people involved, did weeks worth of work without anyone seeing them or noticing anything, and then managed to keep all of these people quiet.

You believe that this inept collection of dumbasses are capable of that level of logistical intelligence?

Perhaps you should put the kaleidoscope down, take off your mirrored-on-the-inside sunglasses, and open your eyes.

EDIT: Oh, and kerosene is not jet fuel. Jet fuel is a highly refined petroleum-kerosene derviative.

If there were any truth to the conspiracy theories, the mass media would have picked up on it by now... unless they're all in on it, too. And you'd have to be pretty paranoid to believe that.

And that's the entire media, from the CEOs all the way down to the interns. That's almost 10,000 people.

And they managed to keep all of them quiet? Even the idealistic college students who are willing to go to jail for the truth? Yeah right.

That is extremely naive.

The mass-media are the one's who are partly behind this. They orchestrated the entire fabrication.

Exactly. I was drawn to the conspiracy theories at first (mostly out of my hatred for Bush and his using 9/11 as an excuse to invade Iraq), but when I started to think about it like an adult again, I came to my senses.

The mass media has access to the same internet we do, so of course they are familiar with all the conspiracy theories' major claims. Recently I saw a History Channel program that was supposed to be an unbiased presentation of these claims and expert response to them. It ended up being almost entirely about debunking them; truth is biased.

Really? All of them? All of the people who work for the mass media? The reporters, the editors, the cameramen, the mail-room workers, the IT staff, the CEOs, the on-air talent? And not one of those people would ever come forward? Even on a website like Indymedia or PrisonPlanet? Even though the kids who made Loose Change are still alive?

Philip K. Dick once said that Reality is that thing that, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.

You wouldnt need a fraction of the entire media workforce..

Take old footage, apply computer magic.

Reporters are told what bias to take, and are kept in the dark.

A little research for you to do, if you are interested in learning the truth. Who controls all of the media stations? Who controlled the trade-centre, and surrounding buildings? Who controls the world banking association?

I hope you mean the conspiracy theorists are analogous to the creationists, and not the sane people. :)

Yes, it is called free-will ;)

Mix that with a brain, and a cacophony(!) of evidence, and one reaches conclusions.

So all of the media and the experts who they got their information from are missing either free-will, brains, or access to the evidence? I would say that's unlikely.

That is hardly a satisfactory answer if you're really hoping to win people to your side. There are likely many people who were involved in the investigation and reporting of the events of 9/11/01 who are much smarter than you, so they must not be half-wits even if I am. Once someone resorts to name-calling, the argument is over.

I have worked for the media companies you accuse above, for over 20 years...in fact the company I NOW work for owns hundreds of radio & television stations. I haven't seen any memo's about this yet.

My neighbor is a freelance videographer in Manhattan. For "shits & giggles", I just called him and asked if he has ever had ANYONE tell him what to film, not film, edit, enhance, etc from the government. After he stopped laughing, his answer was a firm no.

You seem to forget that the mastermind you claim is doing all this, George Bush, is Republican. Are you saying that the US mainstream media (generally liberal) are ALL in cahoots with BUSH?! :P Having spent my entire career in the media, I can tell you it is the LAST place a republican governmental conspiracy would get a foothold.

You will need to try a different angle because that ones waaaay off the edge.

It seems like everytime in this conversation, when vtmarik or someone proves why you are wrong. You don't come back with a reason they are wrong. Instead you say something like well this firefighter said different or you just say it again and say that no one is listening to you. I think Norse and xtratabasco are the ones who aren't listening.

I hate using this phrase, but go back and re-read.

You can't just expect the world to stop, and rewind for you personally. Woul;d you like me to copy and paste the entire dialogue for you?

Why don't you go back, and read through the entire thread, including watching the original video.

Pathetic.
