There are some really nice efforts for this revamp and I'm expecting some close competition. I'm looking forward to posting them all up next week.

I love how WM is so quick at making maps that he makes a fake one and it still looks better than half the maps in the foundry.

Keyogi had to make some unexpected travel, so he'll be back within one of these next couple of days, and get the REVAMP going then.

See: 'Think about rape' thread for details.

So I guess we'll see the results in a week or so?

I don't think people should be voting based on the cartographer anyways, although I have a feeling alot of people will.

anyone who has been advertising or showing their map around should be disqualified as this unfair to the other map makers that took part in the competition!!

I only showed the map to wrightfan, one of my closest friends on CC and in real life. Now, it may have not been the smartest thing to imply his intention to vote for my map, but I understand he was only showing support for his friend. However, I understand how you could think this an unfair advantage (I assumed everyone showed there map to someone besides Keyogi), so I can ask wrightfan to not vote to insure the fairness of the competition.

Different map-makers sometimes have different styles of maps, you can usually tell anyway.

I'm more concerned that wrightfan couldn't/wouldn't read a few posts to figure out what was going on.

A couple votes for a friend's map isn't going to hurt anyone. There's plenty of people voting where the best map will come out on top.

Well of course I showed mine to a couple people(mainly CC cartographers for suggestions), but I think rather than saying go so and so where do I vote if he would look at the others or ask to see. I don't mind bias.. it's the blind bias that bothers me.

Competition is open. Let the voting begin!

P.S. Sorry about the delay.
